It took my ex months to realise that our marriage was really over. He would phone me and cry, appear at the door and cry. Cry to our children, our friends, his workmates.

Throughout it all I could see the pain he was in and tried to make him see that there was no future for us.

Patience and understanding hon, he needs it all. Time will make it easier for both him and you.
