Isn't that the appeal of Doom, though?

What'd you reckon of the movie?
But not for young teenagers.

Movi was a big dissapoint, I am a big DOOM fan, and not having a dmonc invasion on Mars totaly sucked.

His computer can run DOOM 3, but i am more worried about what that game will do to his sons head.

mate its a game...

if you cant work that out dont do them... simple

playing it at the moment.. and another firstperson shooter.. you an see the rounds hit, the blood spurt...bodies jump from impact of rounds..

but believe me thats what real life is like...

wouldnt you rather have your kids see the real damage weapons can do.... instead of the fake shit on tv etc??

Yeah it is a game, and one I really enjoy, come on I brought both PC and x-box versions.

My point is that i amover 18 and mature enough to know it is a game, and is fake.

have you ever thought of useing a trampoline

1 strong, can take a pounding
2 water proof
3 lots of little holes to drain excess fluids
4 strong exposed frame for tie downs
5 a bit of springing assistance for later in the night

fuck that sounds like an advert for WQ....

my 13 yr old has also played the game..... and he absolutely loves it!
AND he knows it's just a game..... all's us parents have to do is bring them up right....
not that hard.

I liked the movie for what it was, but it could've been so much more. There was no real variety in things to kill, lol. Maybe they'll bring out another with all the favourites in it.

my son can handle it, maturity is a state of mind not how old you are, both my kids have had to grow quickly and make fast carefull decisions, my Ex can be difficult at times to deal with and they have both done very well, they have some life skills beyond there age

sorry mate my 9 yr old understands.. acting/fake and as it compares to real life..

her words: "its only a game dad, but it is scarey".

this is one thing that has to be discussed in this day and age...

violence and sex is everywhere... tv/radio/magazines/games/dvd's/real life...

having met your kids, i can honestly say they are among the nicest, most well-rounded people
but then, with a dad like you, of course they would be!

You'd know better then I, I can't have kids. My point of veiw wasnt from the parents eyes, but from some one who hs seen the effect these ultr-high-violent-horror games can do to young minds.

and my point is that if parents do the right thing, and stop cotton-wooling their children, all this would not be an is-sue at all (see horus? that <<<< is how you write it! lol)
