So you're dammed if you do, dammed if you don't. Well you got plenty of time to think about what ya gotta do, and a lot of supportive people around to help ya, so I'm not concerned in the least :)

So what you got planned for your last day of vacation?

An atheist was taking a walk through the woods. "What majestic trees!
What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!" he said to himself.

As he continued walking alongside the river he heard a rustling in the
bushes.

Turning to look, he saw a seven-foot grizzly charging towards him.

He ran as fast as he could up the path.

Looking over his shoulder he saw that the bear was closing in on him.

His heart was pumping frantically and he tried to run even faster.

He tripped and fell to the ground.

He rolled over to pick himself up but saw the bear raising his paw to
take a swipe at him.

At that instant the atheist cried out: "Oh my God!..."

Time stopped.

The bear froze.

The forest was silent.

It was then that bright light shone upon the man and a voice came out of
the sky saying: "You deny my existence for all of these years, teach
others I don't exist and even credit creation to a cosmic accident. Do
you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as
a believer?"

The atheist looked directly into the light, "It would be hypocritical of
me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian now, but perhaps,
could you make the BEAR a Christian?"

"Very well," said the voice.

The light went out.

And the sounds of the forest resumed.

And then the bear lowered his paw, bowed his head and spoke, "Lord,
bless this food which I am about to receive and for which I am truly
thankful."

Damm more questions - well Tap I answered them again!!!

Am headed back to work tonight - I called in today and checked out the pre/post christmas roster..........

......and came home and typed out my resignation.

Am just deciding when to give it to them, have made it effective the 16th of Jan. I just can't bring myself to leave in the lurch before christmas.

evening aussies :)

i spent a lazy day at home today - decided to take a day off.
probably the best thing i could have done... i think i'm a little more run-down than i thought i was.
*sigh* i'll get there...

had to go up to the kidley beans school tonight - they had an art exhibition, where parents could bid on the work.
my daughter had a piece in there, and the bidding was phenomenal!
loads of people showed interest in owning it, and her painting eventually sold for $340!!!
seems my little hormonal chicken may be more talented than her somewhat blinded parents originally expected!
her piece sold for more than 5 times the amount any other piece did :D
apparently it's a record for the school.

i am one super-proud mummy right now.

Hey peoples

Just wanted to say hi and a special thank you to the people that hugged LB. Nothing to do with me really but I spoke to LB and I really know that she appreciated all your thoughts. I wasn't sure that I was doing the right thing by telling you guys originally and I had to go back many pages to make sure that she had told you (you guys waffle) but I am glad I did and I know LB is appreciative of your thoughts. She has probably been on here and told you already and I meant to post last night but..................OK I was slack.
