I have been in many chat sites, over many years!

And the majority of people don't fill in the profiles!

Therefore you do need to ask, especially when some nicknames don't suggest gender!

a/s/l is a bit crude, but then, you tend to get some of the info!

Nothing worse that chatting to someone and finding out they are the wrong sex for you!

I even had a lady in ICQ random one night asking me sexual quesions, her nickname was pussy something.
In the adult part and turned out she was 8!
I told her to get to bed asap! (it was early am also)
