My most precious gift

I have received so many "gifts" in the last several months from the love of my life.

The biggest gift was his 8 day visit to NYC, an expense on his part and a big chunk of his vacation, but it was the most precious hours and days (and nights) of my entire life.

Every gift from him is a treasure, most especially the mikes he first sent to allow us to verbally "connect" on the PC (rather than using phone cards and such).

Too many other things to mention, but all very special to me.

Thanks for those huggles, QD! A person cannot get enough of them!

Hi to all

Well, as some of you know, I've been having car troubles, which has caused me to become a bit 'short' with some people even though they didn't deserve it.

I apologise to 'em (they know who they are) unresevredly.

In any case, Tuesday, it looked pretty bleak: the part I had made 'failed in service', and - once again, the car's coolant ended up all over the road.
Urk.

So yesterday, I did the rounds again, looking for a fitting to replace said part, and Lo and behold, I toddleed into a plumbing store, on the off chance they might have something, when another customer strolled in, wanting some plumbing supplies.

He saw my made-up fitting, and he asked what it was, so I told him.

He looked at it, and said "I can fix that!".

So the two of us fixed up the problem in the car-park (LOL, it involved silver soldering the two parts back together, for the technically minded). I'd never met the fellow, and here he was freely donating oxygen and acetylene to heat up said unit, and the store gave us a free bit of silver solder.

All I can say is a big THANK YOU to all concerned.

Especially those here, who, LOL, have put up with my odd antics over the last while, and especially Dragonette, Azure Sky, Ladybird and the others.

You have been wonderful, and - for what it's worth - you're the best set of erotically minded girls (and guys) there is, bar none.

I have called Sutherland home for the last 5 years and really enjoy living there.

For those of you who don;t know, Sutherland is so close to the city, and yet so far... it is its own little community... imagine a country town... right in the middle of suburbia

*sigh* oh well, one day i will be back.

LOL, Newcastle, especially NTHN Lake Macquaire, where I live, is the same. My fence backs onto a HUGE area of grasslands, hills, hidden valleys...I'll have to scan some pics, one day!

Love the place.

ok.. favourite gift. I've been thinking hard, and couln't really come up with something, then I realised that it was cos I was thinking along the wrong lines.

My most treasured gifts are the ones my children made for me while at school. Blown eggs painted to look like chickens for easter, Christmas decorations made from dough, melanine plates they painted. And my cards. I keep all of my cards, and some are really precious, such as the mothers day card my son gave me before he went overseas to live. Sentimental old fool.. aren't I!!
