Good evening all
I am on a little late tonight, for the simple reason of i have been arguing with my parents.
Well not really arguing.... sort of.
For those of you who don't know, I have to move out of my current place, weekend after next, and so I am moving back to my parents place for a couple of months to get some money behind me.
Yup thats right... a 29 year old living at home... oh the shame!
Anyway, went home today to look at my old room and sort out beds and stuff.
My father and I worked out a new situation using my current double but thought we should let my mum in on the plan.... well she did not like it... wanted to do things the difficult way and generally be annoying.
I love her to bits, but last i heard, it was still illegal to strangle your mother...can anyone confirm that?
*sigh* oh well, thats my rant for the night

So why didn't anyone warn me how expensive accommodation is in Sydney??
I left the travel agents feeling quite ill. But... I got my tickets on hold.. arriving Sydney 13 March and departing 21 March. I've just got to decide where I want to stay.. eek!

I once moved home

Many years ago my life crashed with my wife saying she need to seperate to "work out her feelings" (yeah right..like I believed that) Anyway my close relationship with my parents was tested from day one till years after I moved out.
The first episode started less than a week after moving in when I had a lady come home with me and mum decides to bring me a cuppa (first time ever) and just walked in finding us both naked on top of the sheets cuddling and kissing(MMM love kisses and cuddles) she went red in a second and so did the lady as I hadn't told her it was my parents place.My visitor left soon after.
Then it hit the fan...."This is our house not a brothel, you will respect our home!"
I was packed and gone in 1/2 hour and will never move back I'd rather live on the streets.
THAT was many years ago but I have some health problems and they are telling me to move home again.I reminded them of that last time and said I'd be fine and cope with it my way.

Yeah, it probally would be worse comeing to visit me, but if you stayed just outside of DC I don't think it would be all that expensive.
I'm actually going to go get some rest now. I have work so I can't really get some sleep untill tonight. I've got a headache, probally from looking at this computer screen all night.

I moved home a few weeks b4 my 21st bday big mistake! In the year or so I was out, my room was left vacant, not til I moved back physically did they decide my sister was to get it. So I lived on the lounge for about 6 months with all my stuff. Bad cause I never had privacy, kids mates would go through my stuff and steal things. Worst of all my PC was there for them to do with whatever they wanted when I wasn't there. How glad I was to get this box I live in now.....!
I still have packing boxes from moving home unopened in here and it resembles a bombsite. I do have a double bottom/single top set of bunks in here, but that takes up most of the room, so going back to my old single I had as a child so I can fit in a desk for uni... There goes any entertaining Not that you could use it anyhow, it's covered in clothes and books and crap 
Now to clean it...
Moving out, I had untold freedom and revelled in it, coming home I am now subject to my parents rules etc. But they do let us have guys over if we want, not that there is room in my room anyhow. My sister and her bf are always here somewhere (QD knows both of them lol - we all worked together years ago...), but she has my lovely large room. Wish he'd just marry her and let me have my room back!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do feel sorry for my brothers who have never had their own rooms and are turning 20 this year. On 2nd thoughts, sucked in to them

Yes.. I was planning on coming over in April, then realised it would be during school holidays, when there'd be billions of ankle biters everywhere... and of course, things would cost twice as much.
Hold off on lunch plans for a sec if you can hon.. everything is tentative at this stage.. but.. fingers crossed.
Ansett closing today hasn't helped any... now Qantas is the only airline flying east from Perth. Bummer huh..

Yes, Ansett closed today.. it had been running for 66 years, so it's quite a sad day really, especially for all of the employees concerned.
Virgin Blue is operating within Australia, but only of the east coast at this stage. In any case, your travel agent should be able to sort it all out for you.
Have you decided exactly where you want to visit.. or are your plans still pretty much undetermined?

Well yeah they let me, but Mum still thinks I'm a Virgin and she'd have been right up until middle last year (yeah I was a late one 2). I think she'd have a virtual heart attack if she knew I wasn't, but I'm sure she suspects...
Well she can't really have one rule for my sister and a different one for the rest of us. My brothers don't have girls over as they share a room. I have yet to meet my brother's gf apparently they have been going out several months, but I'm lucky if I see them once a week I'm that busy.
Tis sad about Ansett, I don't like flying Qantas, guess no choice really now as Virgin still don't have all the good flights. Oh well...

... I really wanted to believe that my daughter was a virgin until she met her hubby.. but I know it's not true.
And now the shoe is on the other foot. Now that I'm single, it's my daughter who doesn't like to think that mum has a sex life!
I guess it's payback time for me!!
You know .. it really does seem as though people are not as easy going with sex as once they were. A lot are now waiting just a few years longer than once they would have. And I don't think it's a bad thing really. After all, it's more than just a physical thing, and a little maturity is good to have.
Ansett was always my preferred airline. If only cos the cabin staff were so friendly. I often got the feeling with Qantas that I was being looked down on. And when you consider how much it costs to travel in this country.. a red carpet should be rolled out!!
Once my plans are definate hon.. I'll let you know.. I really can't wait to meet you all though.
