Well I'm sitting here with a cup of my favourite Earl Grey tea attempting to wake up, and not doing a good job of it,
How about a little humor to start the day, seeing as QuickDuck hasn't emerged from under his doona yet..

vehicle... especially in public

From the Sydney Morning Herald in Australia comes this story of a
couple who drove their car to K-Mart only to have their car break down
in the parking lot. The man told his wife to carry on with the shopping
while he fixed the car there in the lot. The wife returned later to see a
small group of people near the car
.
On closer inspection she saw a pair of male legs protruding from
under the chassis. Although the man was in shorts, they had ridden up his
legs, and his lack of underpants had turned his private parts into glaringly
public ones.
Unable to stand the embarrassment she dutifully stepped forward,
quickly put her hand up his shorts and tucked everything back into
place.
On regaining her feet she looked across the hood and found herself
staring at her husband who was standing idly by.
The poor mechanic under the car had to have three stitches in his head.

That is so true. Sean Connery does have that powerful voice.
It's a shame, mortals should join us more often, we aren't that bad, unless we want to be.

Yes, I've had a nice day thanks.. messed about the house a bit, did some washing, study, had a nap, phoned my sister and daughter... that kind of thing.
No I didn't go out. I thought about it, but it's just too hot outside. I might do something more energetic tomorrow if the weather cools down.

Todays installment is really just a "thinker".
A warm and fuzzy for people
*hugs* to all.
A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill in a room of 200 people, and asked, " Who would like this $20 bill ?"
Hands started going up.
He said, " I am going to give this $20 bill to one of you, but first let me do this...." He proceeded to crumple the $20 up.
He then asked, " Who still wants it ?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
"Well"... he replied, " What if I do this?"..and he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?" he asked.
Hands still shot up!
"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it..because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20." Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt, by the decisions we make, and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you never lose your value! Dirty...clean...crumpled...or finely creased...you are still priceless to those who love you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE. You are special....don't ever forget it. Count your blessings.......not your problems

m'lady your getting much closer to the real thing except i dont wax like those models and i am not at that level of fitness anymore not far off though
