It's 5pm here and f%&king freezing, can't wait to get back to Sydney, MUm and I went for a short walk to the shop to get bread and milk and I had to have my speedway jacket on. My brother's just come in from work after riding a bike in a tshirt and bike shorts He reckons another 5C cooler and he'd have his jacket on - it's only 12C here right now!!

HaHaHa & they wonder why you moved here it's for the weather isn't it.

Oh the joys of living in the bush . . . a faily group of six kangaroos bounded nonchantly alongh the fenceline en route to the forest across the road . . . then a lone black wallaby stirred up the dogs by doing absolutely nothing except look across the gully at them . . . then the bathroom waste line broke . . . ohhh, the stench . . .

Gee DON be careful the lurkers will think that we don't have roos bounding around town & you only have them in the bush.

Hi Don.........I remember well the septic tank problems we had on the farm. After a few days of rain the water in the toilet would rise almost to the rim when it was flushed - the drainage was shocking. Had to dig a trench the length of the lawn and under the hedge and into the paddock. Also daughters who use half a roll of dunny paper everytime they go blocked the outlet pipe Ah the joys of country life!!

Bloody Telstra

Once again I am on a friends puter as once again Telstra are screwing me around. been having problems for a while and believed it was in the modem, Telstra said they would replace the modem if they could be sure it was the problem so for days we have been on a never ending trial and error (mostly error) sorting it all out, finaly they said they would supply a new modem........if I signed up for a new contract with them .

going for a new modem with a new server so may be off line till I get it all sorted.

Hi Dracoa We are virtually counting the hours but it's been good for me to have this time with my mum, she's been having a couple of panic attacks since the funeral but I gave her a couple of white quartz crystals which have helped me in the past, and she didn't need to take any of her medication yesterday which will be good.
