evening all, just started to rain here but thats ok I have no major plaqns for my 5 days off except to relax, and help a friend move house and look after a 4 year old over night so her parents can have a night off then on Tuesday I look after a one year old while her mum goes out, have to run the kids around a bit and try and get my van in to storage then of course there is the never ending house work but all the rest of the time is free for me to do as I wish

Have a good one TREV mine will be a quite one too but with out the rugrats not that i mind kids as they are our future & all we can do for them is only a minor effort to make.
Although the weather was meant to be wet,cold & nasty all week it was a loverly day here to day so hope it keeps going for the weekend.

there is a chance I may gain another kid, a school friend of my daughters has a very bad home life and the school along with the childrens welfare department have asked if I would take her in for a short term while an investergation is done on her parents, she has been in care before and is happy with the idea of staying here but the legal matters need to be sorted out first before she can be removed from her parents, one more kid wont make much of a differance to me the problem may be the father trying to get her daughter back, the father will be on a restraining order and not allowed near my place and I will have to phone the police every time he tries to make contact

All who know you will have no worry in seeing you do this as you are a good guy & know this young lady/girl will be a lot better off with you as her carer, good job mate.
It's a pitty this world has so many feral parents who can't see the value of children & that they have a duty of care which they don't do.

Heading down to Christchurch on Tuesday to stay with Mum for a few days. I spoke to her on the phone yesterday and she seemed ok, busying herself in the garden. I'm seeing the kids again tomorrow too.

Missing Gil Though we have had a couple of chats on msn It'll be back to emails when I get back to Mum's though cos brother dear doesn't have chat thingies on his PC. Maybe I can convince him to download msn or yahoo.....

sounds like a busy time for you over there, still it would be nice to catch up on family and friends.

you can keep the rum to your self as I had the miss fortune to over indulge on rum over a three day weekend many years ago, worked on the idea of staying drunk to prevent hangover, It worked find for the first 48 hours but then I needed sleep.
have not been able to drink Rum since

Well I've just got in a few minutes ago from being out with friends and having a few drinks (3 red wines and I'm very happy ) It's my last full day here tomorrow before I fly down to Christchurch on Tuesday.

I rang my mother today she is doing ok she says but we will see when I get there. We will probably go through Dad's things while I am there to help. I am hoping to make it back to Australia in 10 days or so but depends on a lot of factors so have to play it by ear.
