This thread you become part of a family...You are embraced with sincere friendship.

I have frequently referred to this as the 'warm and fuzzy thread' and I think AzureSky's comments show it to be true.

I try not to be biased, but I don't think that any other thread on this site has as much love and true friendship as I see here.

In chat people often comment to me about something going on here. Even though they aren't Aussies, they read the thread for the warmth that's displayed here.

Again, I don't know of any other thread that has honorary citizens.

Friends.. I love you all, and it's because of you.. and people like you, that I'm proud to call myself Australian.

Now Now LB - If you must educate the Honary Aussies, you should at least exposes (umm perhaps not the best choice of word, lol) them to some of the TOP teams. Take the Swans for example. I mean even you Westies get to sample a few swannies now again
.. Ravenswood the best beer in Australia is Swan Lager (a Perth Brewery) and the SWANs are the Sydney based AFL team. You should really get to watch a game or two - you obviously know a little - a little to much. No rules,,who r u kidin,, he he he. Never played it but I enjoy watching it on TV & LIVE. So much better than either Rugby code.

What is the season for football down there. When I cum back I would like to see a game, Oh beer, I like Vic. well maybe I lean a little to Melbourne ,at least I think that is where it is brewed. Do you know the most popular AU beer in the USA,Fosters but down there I'm told it taste like Pixxx ,sorry I like it.

Here's a date joke.......

P.S. hey softie our footy season starts on or around the end of march,but if u include the pre season competition that starts Late feb early march.......& Melbourne is by far the better Bitter,but thats a biased melbournian opinion,although i do have a soft spot for JACK & JIM,lata ppl.

Softey, you are 100% correct about fosters.

I always describe it as the Budwiesser of Australia..... no one here drinks it, so we ship it all over the world to get rid of it.

As for what is the best.... well who knows since everyone has different tastes.

My personal favourite would be Toohey's Dry... but then i have been told i am weird
