On Wedneday my optomotrist booked me in for an urgent eye specailist appointment, he thought I was going blind. I have high pressure in the back of my eyes (causing blind spots), if left unchecked that kills the nerv causing blindness. However I'm now on eye drops to lowwerr the pressure

Good for you! Not a perfect outcome but a workable one! Sooo much better than what the opthamologist had predicted.
Hope the eyedrops will quickly make the blindspots disappear.

Drops are a lot better than a lot of other eye problems.
Just a little joke to help brighten things up..........
Some Japanese tourists just asked me too take a photo of them in surfers,when i said "wave",they all run like fuck!! scored a great camera but..

i'm off to hobart on the 7th aug for a week. i have a workshop to complete to get qualified.
i think i'll stay an extra day and do some shopping!
finally went to see harry potter last night with the kidley beans - not exactly the same as the book, but still very well done!
orlanth - hope the drops make a difference. i know how scary eye stuff can be... when my sight changed from colour to black and white in my left eye, i absolutely freaked! thankfully, it's just stayed that way and nothing further has happened.

Being a long time diabetic I have to have lots of regular testing for all kinds of things including my eyes several times a year so know the worry about sight all to well, I can still perv so all is good LOL.
I was told I had glaucoma & then got a doc tell me that if I tried POT for other problems I have with script medicine I found the glaucoma vanished.
such a shame governments can't see the benifits of POT as a medical treatment.
