Another layer in the humidity of a December - March evening?? Are you mad? I'm a Sadist not a masochist sweetie. As for a photo on here...smiles..no one has sinned that badly to be punished, plus there is the Geneva Convention about Torture....;)

How is the house renovation? You must be sitting back stroking your um...beard and admiring the hard work now?

My age? *Ahem* don't belive there is much difference between the both of us, chronologically, Elfie. But I will take all the advice I can from a fellow senior who obviously needs a good clean out.

As for liking a reaction....there are always one or two that do make me *perk* up a little.

:kiss:MsMoon:kiss:

Well you know that cotton breathes...that's why they wear it in hotter climates...well I guess I finally got the answer to the age question from a few posts ago...just needed to change the bait....I think you're wrong on the sinners issue...we're all sinners...its just the level that differs.

As for the house reno's well the cold weather has put a halt to all that activity. Too cold to paint and too cold for things to cure. I had a discussion with a painter one day and asked him how the trade does in the winter time. He said they usually take holidays due to the lack of work during winter. Makes sense. Now that I'm staying in Melbourne, no rush on getting the other stuff done. Time now to hang up those pics again that I packed away.

Yes I know certain things make you perky....as for the senior thing...can't wait. I'm going to park in those senior car park spots all day. Wish I could retire now, but I'm still too young for some things. I reckon we should be able to rent a senior to car sit for us...a win win situation..they get a day out, you get a close parking spot. Imagine the business they could make during the FY and Christmas holidays.."mummy why is Santa sitting in that car...I thought he has a sleigh"

Hmmm what to do on a Saturday night? I have my stockings on, (doc's orders as I'm not "that" kinky), I also have a belly full of wine and 3 peacock feathers. :D

I'm seriously thinking I'm gonna have to shave my legs again, they are so itchy with the stockings. I'll be so happy to get the damn things off!!!
Aaaah, At Last a man who can understand how it all feels *sigh* ;)

3 peacock feathers are .... interesting :)

*chuckle*

lol, I'm now an educated man, well sort of, I'm getting there :)

As for the peacock feathers........ pity I'm alone tonight, my lady is of enjoying herself on the high seas. Otherwise......

Oh, I am sure you are more than able to torment the naughty Elf, sweetie. He is a *tartie* as in a loose man for a little flirting. smiles. Wait to see how he responds to that one....reaction indeed....grrrr :D

If I was going with the limericks and leprechauns, would be more a *tattie*....just don't know how starchy the lad is to make that sort of inference.

:rose:

:kiss:MsMoon:kiss:

Now Ms Moon you shouldn't set up Curious in such a way...naughty Moon...a spanking seems to be in order....

Hmmm....perhaps my Irish heritage is showing....now where did I put that pot of gold...oh yes here is it next to the taytoes

I would just like to remind everyone how precious life is :rose:
Driving down to town this morning, I came within half a second of dying.
I had just driven past a massive tree, when it came down across the entire road, not more than 5feet behind the car.
The diameter of the trunk was about 3feet, and it missed the car by a very small margin.
It covered the entire road from one side to the other.
My heart was racing wildly, let me tell you!
Some of the branches scraped the back end of the car.

We've had gale force winds now for 24 hours, but it never occured to me that big trees might come down.
I was very lucky today.

We have had lots of trees down in & around Sydney this week & had some very lucky escapes so glad you have another story to tell when you write your book Life & times of WQ.

Ah, it was as simple as I might have thought. A 'tart'. 'Sfunny, I always think of that word as applying to females. Well, I'm sure I can have some fun with the resident thread tart :D

And maybe 'tattie' is what I was getting confused with. I do love a good tater myself. Starch and all. The things you can do with a tater and a good amount of butter...

:rose: Curious

Its like being a fly on the wall in a women's toilet..no wonder the lines are so long. Do you think I should tell them I can see their post.?..naw, why spoil it..shhh I can hear a toilet flush...just act natural...."why that's a lovely painting on the wall..yonder"

remember mate it's only kinky if you use the feathers

but if you use the whole peacock then it's just wrong :D:D

Well good news is I worked in a bycicle hire shop & got lots of experience lubing, oiling up & greasing the bits to make it a better ride.

Well I've found that if itching after shaving some parts of the body the use of conditioner softens the hair & dosen't itch or you could get Calli to wax them for you. VWEG

yep Brisbane, if it wasn't for the cold early morning and nights, I would forget it was winter

You guys get winter? Oh sorry yes that's when the temp falls below 25..yes those cold winters are a problem....

Now if were talking Toowoomba, then yep it can get cold up there.

and if the bike has a motor I know enough on how to make it purr sweetly

Save 'em 4 later. What a nice welcome home pressie!! :)

Time for another meet up I'd say. May 19th 2012 in Brisbane. PM me if you want to come along and catch up! :D

Why then? To give people time to recover finicaly after Christmass, between school holidays, and the weather is not to hot

To change the subject - I made Persian chicken with spiced rice for dinner :D
A definite winner!

Obviously not for the chicken..that's quite a trick though making an aussie chicken Persian...I'm still trying to figure out how to make a Peking duck...I can get it to move side to side, just not good up and down.

evening all, well what can i say the long road is almost over, its taken it's toll the body is weak & i have chemo brain,iv lost a part of the body but thats kool i dont need it,4 weeks to recover from the operation then 9 weeks of a hell ride,iv never had so many hard core drugs pumped into me,dunno if its worked or not we will find out in a few weeks or so,either way i aint going threw it again.no its time to get stronger, faster & fiter & rebuild not only my mind but my body,to enjoy life again with the family.

Rasher,

Sorry to hear this. Nobody can tell you they know how you feel since its you going through it. Had a new experience myself earlier this year that could of gone either way, now I'm just on a watch list so I know things have changed for me. Never been near so many medical people as I have in the last three years. Certainly changes your viewpoint on what is important. Good luck with everything.

Well, that's a risk we might just have to take. I don't think stoppering it would do us much good, depending on the volatility of the contents. Sometimes, things should just be alllowed to spill over, if necessary. Besides, I'm pretty sure I could find somewhere that's actually designed to be spilled onto. Some surfaces are just made that way.

I'd like to buy a consonant....then a vowel, then another consonant....I'd like to solve it please...

Hey ther, Mr Elf!

I thought the cold makes things perky?

maybe that's why Santa's popular?

:)

Hey Trisk

Yes well that is true the cold does make things perky, however I was talking about QLD in that post, they don't know what cold is, so anything below 24 is nippy for them.

Now when you said Santa was popular because the cold makes him perky...I must admit I went right off Santa in that vision....I doubt very much he would be allowed out in public in that condition...can't see too many christmas cards being sold with that photo....

However if you were offering a self portrait of perky, then I'm sure that would be more than acceptable :D

Evening all,

Well it has been a busy few weeks. The curtain has finally come down on the dickhead Dir. He as been removed. I've been in the workforce nearly 30yrs, never seen that before, however something needed to be done. Now we have to move on and it seems I'm the go to guy to bring things back on track...not that I want the task.

As others have said, things are cold in the southern parts of the country. Melbourne is having one of those old fashioned winters. The kids wouldn't have experienced this before. The winters in the recent past have been warmer. Right now global warming is all about getting the most amount of heat around you as possible. Those chilly antarctic winds are really blowing through Melbourne at the moment.

Time for me to sign off and get food and warmth. Hope everyone has a warm weekend.
