I would just like to remind everyone how precious life is :rose:
Driving down to town this morning, I came within half a second of dying.
I had just driven past a massive tree, when it came down across the entire road, not more than 5feet behind the car.
The diameter of the trunk was about 3feet, and it missed the car by a very small margin.
It covered the entire road from one side to the other.
My heart was racing wildly, let me tell you!
Some of the branches scraped the back end of the car.

We've had gale force winds now for 24 hours, but it never occured to me that big trees might come down.
I was very lucky today.

I did say we had to learn to decipher which ones were genuine!
For the record, I have never received a creepy pm from an aussie - but I have had heaps from the yanks. Mostly starting with 'I can see my cock between your cheeks' and similar.
Those are the ones I delete and ignore.

I would like to second the fact that I've never gotten a creepy pm from an Aussie, or a Kiwi for that matter. There seems to be something different about men from our little corner of the world.

didn't mean profile, just being invisible on who online. didn't realize what I wrote till this morning, was really tired when I commented

Haha, that's OK. Gil illuminated things for me.

Lucky indeed! Glad to hear you're safe. I hope everyone else in your area stays lucky too.

That would have sent your heart pumping. Were you alone in the car?

Even tho we're a bit out of the way here, we generally don't think about the issues of driving alone. Yes, I was on my own in the car - as I am most times I go to town.

Well, WQ, I'm impressed that you were able to get yourself home after that that! It's hard to co-ordinate and concentrate with that much adrenaline in the system. :D You'd be tired enough with the mono.

I bet you'll cook up something special for dinner tonight ! I hope you got a lottery ticket. We never know what will happen tomorrow, do we!?

Oh, he's given up hope of me getting there. Apparently, I'm a hard bicycle to pedal.

Well then with the Tour de France on at the moment I'm sure he can get some inspiration....just have to work out what category climb suits your bike...all in the cadence.

Although I'm not sure how you would go with a support crew watching...four guys in car hooked up via an ear piece.

Smiles... Curious. Welcome!

Please feel free to torment the Elfin one. Elfie is just a tartie lad who happens to possess a wicked sense of humour (yes, I know, blindingly obvious there Moonie!) and I love his wordplay. Feel free to torment him at will, I know I do...smiles.

:kiss:MsMoon:kiss:

she loves me, she loves me not, she loves me....damn, that can't be right...."can someone pass me another duck"....damn odd feathered ducks!

Hmmm what to do on a Saturday night? I have my stockings on, (doc's orders as I'm not "that" kinky), I also have a belly full of wine and 3 peacock feathers. :D

I'm seriously thinking I'm gonna have to shave my legs again, they are so itchy with the stockings. I'll be so happy to get the damn things off!!!
