Well I was thinking about offering you some bottles I have here, but the Queen told me they are only to be consumed in the castle... so you would need to visit to get a sample... A 2 say sampling would give you that sloshy feeling... :)
I got the Austrian wine from a wine tasting evening...

it is raining here right now... guess I should try a wine :)

Might have to make a detour from Sydney next time I'm up for work, then ..... A sloshy feeling from sampling is something I would enjoy I'm sure. Is there room for another at the castle or is it necessary to look in the town for a place to stay within staggering distance?

There is room at the castle and plenty on offer in town within staggering distance... I've staggered about a few times...

Sounds like an offer ...... better than taking up the offer of a spare space with my friend the undertaker in your region.... you never know where you might end up!

Well there are no coffins in the castle... just dungeons and wine cellars...:cattail:

All this chat about wine and the Hunter reminds me of a trip I made from Tamworth to Newcastle a few years ago. We visiteed most of the wineries along the way.
There were about 1200 of us, on bicycles!

As much as I want to go, I now know I can't :(. I've got my cricket wind up on the same day and we've got a whole lot of money saved up for booze and God knows what else.

I remember having a bottle of port around at one stage that was fitted out like an IV drip ...... only thing missing was the needle for your arm....

It was great fun,
I hung out with some Victorian riders who had seen me on a Great Vic ride or two.
I managed the mobile toilets for a number of years, and my nic on the tamworth ride was Mr Pooh!

The storm that came through Cessnock? that bowled tents all over the place was spectacular, the only tents that didn't blow away were those with pissed riders in them!
