Well, I'm not living up to my name today - I just saw the news of LB's mother. It brought my father's passing to mind in many ways... we had his family there (well, as many as could squeeze into the room), wishing him love & godspeed - and he literally led us into a new day (passed away at 0500 15/9/02).
LB-I've sent you an MMS (and like I said in it, I only wish I could deliver it in person - it's awfully hard to do a hug to a camera phone!). Look forward to hearing from you again soon!
Now, if the wake is still running, I'll have a Coke (gotta go to work soon (grumble, moan...))

Well i hear you there in what your saying, I have spent the last 5 years working with 12 to 18 yr olds, and yes while i do agree on the stretching to the limits, it would seem here in QLD the department is hell bent on employing over paid execs and little of the money is going to where it is needed most!!
Good to hear that there are still people out there that can offer a good safe and happy environment for our young people!!

I know what you mean, I needed a hug after hearing the news because it brought up the memories of my own father's passing back in March, I wasn't there when he died but did go back to see him after Christmas, when he was still lucid even though his body was letting him down.
The kids and I think of him now in a special place (not necessarily heaven, but somewhere), he's healthy and strong and has all the dogs and cats around him that he loved over the years, and he's able to do all the things he used to without pain.
