already ordered mine - I think I got the first order in.

It's good of HUGGLES to take the time to set these up for us. :nana:

Now will you be wearing your G&G 2005 shirt to work? :D

um no - I thought I would save it for when I go into a nursing home. So I can look back on my days with pleasure. Plus it will embarass the kids when they come to visit me.

I can vouch for that and your capacity for drinking is pretty good too.

I am about to place my Tshirt order then have to get off here, the only thing in the house is dirty laundry so I need to do shoping and get stuck in to the washing then I may grab some sleep, holidaying can make you very tired
Thank you :D

and enjoy the rest of your day. I go to work in a few hours.

My little baby girl is 28 in a few weeks time & I had big plans of embarassing her often through her years but alas she is to much like her dad to fall for it, although she does want to get a family portrait & the G&G shirt will be worn. :D

and now I must leave too. I have a garden full of weeds to take care of. The biggest basket of ironing and heaps of washing to deal with.

afternoon gentlemen, ladies, lurkers and lookers :D

a great day at work, and all over now so scotch no. 1 is happily sliding down my throat without even touching the sides.
i have decided that a totally debauched weekend is in order (executive decisions - gotta love 'em!)..... so i don't expect to see much sunshine/fresh air ;)

good to hear you got back safely trev... and i fully expect you to raise a glass (and more!!!) at the GnG for me

ordering my tshirt in a mo - have to have one, even if i'm not going to be there!
awesomely cool
(i'll take a pic with me in it, and post here.... then you can print it out and prop me in a chair and have a drinky....)

remember to ask trev about my raptor scooter (which btw, does a maniacally hellish 45km/hour downhill!) it's a funky little machine :D

oh - and here's the pics of my new tattoo....
remember i was thinking of getting this one done some time ago?
well, it was finally done 3 weeks ago, but i waited till it was fully healed before taking the pics.

Not bad.. went to a good PWP party on Friday night out at Greystains... met some new people there.. including a lady who has a 7yo daughter who is also from the City chapter, it's good to find people in my chapter with kids who haven't left home, let alone are in primary school.

Took my daughter to see Sergey Ruskofs? Ice Circus today at the Super Dome in Homebush.. was really good, although I was expected a little better.. Not as good as Slavik's Snow Show that I went to a while back.

Still having a lot of problems taking my daughter back to her mother though, she doesn't want to go back.. <sigh>.

Well.. more Gardening and house stuff tomorrow... but off to Oktoberfest on Monday!

Might try and catch Serenty sometime Sunday night as well..

Oh yeah.. I got to swap around weekends for access.. so the issues with the GnG are over now..

Next week Im taking my daughter to a Fright Night being put on by some of the kids of PWP out at the Hills Chapter.. So I have to organise a Halloween costume.. Lucky theres like 3 BIG wholesale party shops up the road from my office :) Im sure they have something..

Its good to hear you are meeting new people - that is always good for us single parents.

As for the problems taking your daughter back to her mum, that may well happen til she is old enough to really understand how things are.

My ex and I have a really good relationship - he has spent several days at my home fixing my car for me. He occaisionally eats with us, and recently we went to one daughters school concert as a family. They all still say they don't want to leave me to go to his house, and then they don't really want to come home. It does help with us that regardless of our relationship, we as parents are a united front. We agree on household rules that are the same for both houses and are very civil with each other in front of them. If a major issue occurs we sit down together, work out a solution and deal with it accordingly. He will sleep at my house on Christmas eve, so he can see their joy when santa has been and have Christmas lunch with us. We intend to take the kids on holiday to QLD next year together. I asked him to come with us as I feel it is only fair that he see their little faces when they go to the theme parks for the first time.

After that, and as they get older, we will probably do less together so as it won't be so important to them. But I never wanted them to suffer because their dad and I don't love each other.

And even after all of that they still find it difficult to leave the other parent. I just remind them that if I hadn't have moved them to Vic they would only see their dad on their birthdays and Christmas, so they are very lucky to have what they have.

It may take time but I am sure that things will settle eventually for you.

Had a bad night at my beloved speedway last night with a huge crash that saw us needing the Ambulance (3 of them) fire brigade rescue unit & police attending, it took us over an hour to release the driver from the wrecked car,the driver was initally knocked out & his seat belts failed,he had face, head, shoulder, arms & legs hurt but was talking to us when he woke, they had to cut the car apart to get him out but on the up side he is alert & in one of the best hospitals in Sydney so all hopes are for a speedy recovery.

BALI BOMBED AGAIN

More locals including kids have been hurt in another of these heartless bombings,so far only Aussie mentioned is a 16 yo who was killed.

Massive G forces (he was bleeding from the eyes)are the likely cause as this was huge, i know that brofre the start of the season all are inspected for age & wear, not sure if they broke or came loose from their anchor point & at the moment trying to find out if it was caght on vidoe, if it was will likely be on Ch 10 news & their sports show, lucky for us on the crash crew my demanding we all get not one fire training but also ambo assitance trianing so we don't make any injuries a driver might have worse.

a bloke I use to work with is envolved in the local speedway club and we got together and showed the crash crew over the fire truck so they new what was where and how we do things, they did the same with the ambos and SES.
gives them an idea just what is going to happen and how they can help if needed

I've always been close to the action as a driver, pit crew, offical & crash crew for more than 30 years now & in the day gone by things were very hap hazard in the approach to crashes & injured drivers so this was my main though when I was asked to join the crash crew this time around back in 90 after i stopped racing at our track & getting a pro attitude to the job was a goal that had to be pushed not only on the crew but promotion (believe it or not) on the up side we have been praised by Doctors who treated the injured as well as the drives their families & pit crews, last season one of the American legends of the sport told us he valued us only second to a fully paid crash crew who have their own doc & nurses on it & us all very amateur volenteers, we have had some serious injuries to cope with in recent years mainly backs & necks which with our training has prevented more crippling injuries.

Thats great and often its only a small thing that can make all the differance to the outcome. simple things like wooden wedges to stop a car rocking and hold it still so you can work on whos traped
