Aussies! Check in here!

Carn the Crows.... we will see who is the best in AFL tipping tomorrow. DUG on the Tigers and me on the Crows.

Gonna be an awesome game and close but the Crows have the upper hand IMHO.

So many options for a bet.... but maybe will keep it private

It's grand final day ......yayayayayayay * runs around like a mad woman*

It's windy. It's going to rain, it's in favour for the tigers
No matter what let's hope it's a great game.

I hate to disagree, lol, but everyone seems to have forgotten the way the Crows exterminated Geelong the day before the "fairytale" got a step closer last week. The AFL had their fairy tale last year, this time it will be the year of the crow.

Not that I care that much being a northerner but Crows by 50.

Wow your more confident than I am.... Crows by 19

Kiss of death???

Tiger's little men are killing them around the ruck. Huge pressure making Adelaides disposals inaccurate and infective.

Back from annual pilgrimage.

Fishing was the worst i've ever seen. Very few fish caught at all. Lots of drinking, sight-seeing and such done instead.

Still, a bad week fishing beats a good week at work.

Saw a 17.5kg tuna caught from the beach using a drone to deliver bait.

Back in time to watch Storm get up over Cowboys. Cowboys did well to make the grand final and didn't lose a thing. Storm played really well. Was a good game to watch.

Ah well, back to the grind.

Hello, completely off topic but, I have lurked here for years off and on more off than on. We are in Canada. However we have a niece who has recently located down your way ( actually Bali) was wondering if anyone can steer me towards a site or maybe have some information about the volcano that is apparently close to erupting in that area. Cheers.

Hey Mont,

Been to Canada a number of times beautiful country. Bali belongs to Indonesia so not an Aussie place except for the cheap holidays. No other news except that from what I've seen on local media here is that the Volcano is only impacting those in the inclusion zone, only impacts local villages in that area. Seems to be no issue for local tourists in the main districts. Hope that helps. I wouldn't suggest looking at any Indonesian govt websites, they aren't good on that stuff. Better off to just google Bali Volcano

Not so sure about the roar... Each team only gets 17,500 tickets which is pathetic. The rest is corporates and guests, go figure that money is more important than fans. Then again maybe a lot of the guests will be going for the home side.

Carn the Crows

Not sure what the final quota on tickets but certainly more Tigers fans at the game than Crows and that roar was in full cry. Not as loud as the previous week but still loud enough.

Given that the Storm also took home the NRL trophy Melbourne has been just one party place for several days and has bragging rights on two footy codes.

Good morning :)

Spent a happy and relaxed Sunday with my kids and grandbabies all together in the one place - something that only happens a few times a year these days!
Fun, food, family.... the 3 magic ingredients

Today is home day..... need to get some paperwork done and also see if I can stretch my budget to allow for a Bathurst trip. Really want to go, so might have to make it happen!

A little disappointed that apathy seems to be dictating the possible loss of same-sex marriage law changes :(
Seems folks are so sick of all the politics going on around this issue that they're simply not bothering to fill in and return the ballot papers.
It will be a sad day indeed if it fails to pass because people don't care enough.

Hey WQ,

The same sex debate just seems to be going on for a long time due the length of time given to respond. Then will take even longer for the ABS to count them all.

It seems Canberra will vote No. So will depend on that happens in Melbourne and Sydney. Plus so much crap about other issues so lots of confusion on purpose. Will be interesting to see if the polling matches the actual vote.

So i should post this in the what made you say fuxk today thread but no one would understand. The new royal adelaide hospital that they spent millions on. Is whacked. I hate it. There is no clear signage. You need barcodes for appointments and yeah its terrible. And i should have a paying gig because i have told about 50 people where to go and how to get out and its our first visit.

Saw something about that new hospital on the news a couple of weeks ago and heard that it cost lot of money and facilities not so good. No doubt the local govt will put it down to teething problems, until someone gets the sack.

Hey Rollin,

In that second pic I was just waiting for the wave to wipe them all off the rocks. Looks like it was good weather. Beer is the key, just get them fish drunk :D

Afternoon all,

So a new month and crappy daylight savings has started. The Tigers deserved the win, just played better footy and was able to shut down the Crows just like they have been able to do most of the year to other teams. A well deserved win. As for the Storm well they were just too good.

So it seems Rump is channeling Bush regarding Puerto Rico. History repeating itself it seems except this time the Pres is leading the chant against the locals devastated by a natural disaster. The guy is just a fuckwit. Says a lot when Kim K is the voice of reason in the US.

Good ole Abbott commenting on shutting down free speech when it isn't to his liking. Seems he only wants free speech on things he wants to hate against.

As for the postal survey well it will be interesting to see if Malcolm will take control of his party if the vote is Yes. If it's No well he can kiss his PM status goodbye at the next election.

One month into Spring here in Melbourne town and whilst the leaves are coming back that initial burst of warmth has faded. Still struggling to get above or near 20.

Hope your week goes well even if there is still a week of school holidays to go. The pain will be over soon.

We have had a couple of blokes washed off there in the past. Long swim back to the beach... Plenty of beer drunk. Plenty of scenery to take in as well.

Oh you poor thing...
Very jealous.

Arrived Tues night, and cold bourbon was waiting :)
Set up tent etc and had a good catch-up with the boys..... It's been a year since we saw eachother.
(On another note, it seems all my bits are working just fine after my operation ;) )

How was day 1, who looks good etc.

That is when you have less bourbon in the system lol.

The djr boys are quick. As is erebus! This makes me happy :D
Erebus posted the fastest time in Thurs practise.
The gis crashed on the top of the mountain, and the entire crowd cried 'shame!' without meaning it. He's lost a lot of supporters here.

Qualifying is this afternoon - I will be wandering about chasing signiatures on 1:18 scale models most of today. Last year I managed to organise 20-odd. This year I had 19 and knocked off most of them yesterday.
The elusive Grice (of yesteryear) is here today, so my mission is to hunt him down. I will achieve it - I always do :D
It helps to have my mantra...... No fear, No shame, No dignity!!!!

What does the V6 sound like? I heard it on video but not the same as in person.

I'm sure you will get Gricey ;)

Hey WQ,

Saw a bit of Bathurst this afternoon and some of the folks set up for the racing.

Good to see you out enjoying yourself. I would say be good but no chance in hell of that happening :D
