Honestly I don't get what all the fuss is about.
It's a game, people!
You're not supposed to analyse it to the n'th degree and be all emotionally devastated if your team doesn't win.
You're supposed to have fun, either playing or watching, and then go have a beer together afterwards.

Come now WQ you know in parts of the world cricket is a religion and sports champions are always celebrated and paid a hell of a lot more than entertainers of the past, some might say the top end gets paid too much. Then again this is the same society that is infatuated with the Kardashians and they have become rich off that voyeurism. Still a bit cold for beer, but I have been drinking more red wine this winter whilst watching the cricket.

With Father's Day sales on at the moment you can go up market on the bourbon, thinking of buying myself another 21yr old bottle of single malt.

As for Winter well now that its Spring...its still cold. Sunny at times but no warmth. Will have to wait till later in Sept for the warmer temps.

Sorry to hear about the relapse, must be tough, but you've been positive in the past so no reason to not continue thinking like that. You're a tough chick

Certainly not surprising you've caught a cold given the cold temps means you're coming in contact with infected people. I've certainly been using the hankies more often this Winter with my nose leaking so much just from the chilly air. Not something that I usually get in Winter. I usually like Winter, not this year. So glad I can stay in bed longer.

Afternoon all,

Well yes its Spring and the flowers have been blooming for a couple of weeks now in my garden a sign of new life and positive energy. Now we just need the temps to get a little warmer and I might think of going for walks again.

The NFL is nearly here so more sport to watch although I'll have to get up earlier to watch it, new sleeping pattern required.

Win 10 seems to be going fine for now although did lose mouse function after one update, rather annoying till I managed to get it back. Don't trust the weather option since it initially gave me temps in F rather than C till I corrected that, then discovered the forecasts were wrong. Google weather...really? BOM is more accurate.

Went to do my tax only to discover I didn't need to a return, down side is I can't claim on anything, but to counter that I haven't paid any tax in over 12 months. I guess that makes up for all the tax I was slugged when I resigned.

Hope your week hasn't been too much of a pain in the butt.
