Lol! Dont' tell me that! Your wand looked to be in fine, fully functional condition last time I peeked. In fact, I thought it was going to poke me in the eye! :D

Yeah, I'm sad for my friends. I worry the grief will tear them apart. But... there's nothing to be done. Hugs, Dom. :kiss:

yeah, I am sorry to hear you are grieving for your friend's son.

I lost an old friend, my Master's supervisor, a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, wok commitments didn't allow me to fly back for his funeral. But, we, and he, knew he didn't have long to live, so we had, in fact said our goodbyes in time.

Bloody ear infection that started out as nausea and giddiness, got complicated - it went to his other ear and finally into his brain. Antibiotics were useless.

Hey WQ :kiss:

What the heck goes on up past that border? Being single isn't that bad so there are positives. Homeless - well I reckon that won't last too long, however a keyboard is an intermittent 'o', how would you say hello, it would be 'hell you'.. and the response be "what..whatido'...all sort of chaos could ensue. Use your zero instead '0' just type in a different font they won't notice.

Afternoon all,

Welcome MiChina things can get slow here but don't let that put you off. Just shows lots of people are busy.

Well day one of not working and it has been busy catching up on what's going on in the world. Did the washing and hung up the clothes, saw the truck that takes away the green waste, tried a new flavour of jam, wrote some emails and didn't have to call a meeting once...loving the serenity...may need a pool room.

I think I am going back to being a non-practising lesbian, and I will grow old alone with 63 cats :(

I hardly think that will be the case.. the cats bit...as for the non-lesbian status, I reckon a number of guys would be happy about that they just may be not that obvious.

May be take time for yourself and see what you want not so much what others want. If you can't find your own inner peace however that works out then you can't engage with other desires. Be good to yourself first. People will always want things from you but you need to set that boundary and if they can't deal with it then its their issue.

Remember the safety video on the flights, put the oxygen mask on yourself first then help others.

:kiss::kiss:

Well its cold, wet and its a weekend...what to do, of course go out to a footy game, stick a pie in your mouth to compensate for the wind chill attacking the rest of your body...at least Tony can't tax the shit of that.

Obviously the Libs reckon we're all stupid, of course they aren't going to introduce all the recommendations, thankfully I'll be on my pension well before the 67 bit kicks in. Mind you that took planning on my part. Not letting the govt dictate my future income, paid enough tax over the past 33yrs.

Interesting how none of the Libs and National Party senators showed up to back up the author of the report. That poor guy is the sacrificial lamb to allow the public to focus their anger at him rather than at the govt. Wouldn't mind being on a pension worth a few hundred grand and free flights for the rest of my life.

Yeah isn't it amazing how they say "We have to find this money somewhere" but I guarantee their factored in 5% pay raise will still be passed for all Parliament house employees costing the tax payers at least 5 to 6 million dollars. Gee and how much money did they need to find?

Are you referring to the pollies or the people who actually do the work?
