I have finally thrown myself back out into the dating world....
Only to find the rules have changed

There are rules? I thought it was chick meets guy or gal, they like each other enough to spend time together and of course get a root, then either continue or find another partner or stay single....the cycle of life or something like that.

May be the single people should form their own political party..
- No more buy one get one free meals....only wanted one fucking meal at the discount price.
- Equal rights for taking time off at Christmas and other holiday periods
- Putting in the same money for a farewell present as married people (that should have the fingers-a-typing)
- No more having to swap seats on a plane so spouses can sit together...they can get to the airport early like I did.
- Being seated at a proper table not the small one in the corner
- Introducing a Singles Public Holiday...there's a day for everyone else, even old people get a week.
- Ban Baby on Board stickers...yes we know you have a baby in the car by the way you drive
- Spending your money on yourself before you die..relatives can fend for themselves.
- Recognition of friends with benefits
Rally cry - "I have money and I'm not afraid to use it."

Welcome to all the new posters whether Aussies or just passing thru. It must be BBQ weather somewhere and its been warm enough in the south to have a couple of beers.

Here in Melbourne town the heaters are off and that pattern of warm to hot days followed by rainy cool changes has begun. So nice to get a cool change after a humid day. The roses in the garden are in bloom at my place. The last of the Winter/early Spring flowers have died off and its mowing time again with the warmer weather. Even have a bird's nest in a tree near the front door with a mother bird trying to keep quiet so as not to draw attention from the roaming neighbourhood cats.

Its even the season for the charities to start up their collections. Been sorting though old clothes and turning those not fit for recycling into rags. Always comes in handy. Bunnings is cheeky enough to sell rags in a small bag for $7.

Hope the rest of the week is easier than the start. And its cricket season again.

Yes well given I live in Melbourne, if you don't like the weather just wait a while something will come along that suits you and yes we never really put away the warmer clothes. I was possibly only considering the blokes perspective in my post about the weather, but I'm a firm supporter of "free the nipple", plus I do have warm hands, so I've been told

It always makes me smile to see the local ovals hosts teams in white, and hearing leather on willow. It's a welcome sign of Summer. Being on the way...with such varied Spring weather, it should be a bumper year for the roses for the Spring Racing Carnival, as long as the wind abates.

Well it is Melbourne so the warmer clothes never really get put away in storage. Doesn't seem to matter how cold it gets my hands stay warm, besides palms to boobs is always warm. Warm yesterday and cool change today so typical Spring and the roses are a blooming so time for women to dress up and get drunk with shoes in hand of course. I mean it wouldn't be Spring Racing Carnival otherwise.

This week will be slow though - I have 2 cracked ribs to set the pace for me! (Only I can manage to trip over air... )
