attention, sci-fi/joss whedon fans!

serenity is a feature-film based upon the TV series firefly. directed by joss whedon, it will continue the story originally begun in the series and is the single movie to which i am most looking forward this year. sci-fi is going to begin broadcasting firefly friday, for those living in the US and having access to the sci-fi channel.

serenity is currently set to open september 30.

Also, Joss & the major cast members of Firefly and Serenity are going to be guests at Dragon*Con in Atlanta (2nd-5th September). As far as I know the series hasn't aired in the UK yet, so we don't know what all the fuss is about!

if you're a fan of either joss whedon's other work or sci-fi, i urge you to consider borrowing it from a rental shop if possible. it's only a half season, so here in the US it runs a scant US $35 (from amazon) for the set. i'm a big fan. does it show? :>

About damn time that movie came out, heard about when I bought the box set of firefly, which I some how screwd up the 1st disk too. Thanks for the heads up.
