I know rape is not allowed, but would an attempted rape be allowed. The attacker is stopped before any description of rape can even begin. Really, the only thing describe is an assault that leads up to what would have become rape. I just didn’t know if that was still one step too close.

There's an entire category for "nonconsent" stories. A story isn't going to get bounced for describing an attempt, though depending on where you're posting it and how you handle the scene some readers may not appreciate being surprised by it.

Did you describe the intentions and preparations for the rape-attempt in detail? Did you describe what the rapist attempted, how and why? Was there a lot of anticipation?

1)Nope. It’s a pretty spur of the moment, emotional type thing.
2)The attempt is described, but is mostly struggling and fighting between two people, as well as the fear from the victim - it doesn’t get far enough for much else to happen.
I described what I did to show the shock of the main character at how out of character the attacker is acting, and as a reason for the attacker to be emotional enough to say some things they’d rather be kept secret.
3)You mean from the attacker? No, the story is not from their POV.

The non-con category is where part 1 of my story is at right now, but I realized this is only one very small part, and I didn’t want to anger anyone looking for this specific thing only for them to find one scene in a much larger story. So, I’ve recently started switching over all parts to novels/novellas, since it just doesn’t seem to fit any one category.

From your descriptions, I can't see anything wrong with it. You didn't put 'rape' or anything related, as a keyword, did you?

You can submit it again with a note in the comments box to indicate that the story doesn't contain rape. You could also ask for a beta-reader first, to have a quick look at it. I could offer my help, but I don't have much experience in this category, and don't know the exact boundaries (actually, no-one seems to know)

rape is not allowed unless the person being raped enjoys it to some degree. My story Mom the unwilling slut is about as close to the line as I am willing to go. By any legal definition, it is rape, anal rape, oral rape, and assault. But because mom not only accepts but actively participates, smiles, and has orgasms, it's acceptable on this site.

It was rejected the first time I submitted it, but I pasted the parts that show mom enjoying the attack, into the note to mod field, and Laurel approved it.

I just successfully posted Part 3 of a 4 part story. This piece is a character telling the story about her date at the high school Winter Ball. (All characters 18+)
