Attempt to change unsupported field headerImageData

I'm trying to update my story site bio but when I click the save button I get this message:

Attempt to change unsupported field headerImageData

I don't have a header image though, nor have I tried to add one. Although I did upload a profile picture a few days ago and that's still pending.

The changes I submitted are showing in my settings, but aren't showing on my profile.

The profile might just be waiting to publish. They're moderated, same as new stories. @Manu can investigate that error message.

The changes are no longer showing in my options and it still won't let me update my bio.

Well I was finally going to get around to doing what you suggested when I noticed that my profile pic had been approved, so I decided to try one more time before doing so. And it worked, so I guess that the picture being in pending had the whole profile on pause.

I'm having the exact same problem right now. [EDIT] NEVERMIND, the problem just fixed itself. I didn't have to change anything, just tried again a few minutes later and it worked.
