Atheist!

... Either way, it is true that shit will happen to you and there is nobody that cares.

Dude! I care, and I don't even know Stella. Not everyone carries around as much hate as you do.

I've thought all along it's an alt having a go at the board--to be toyed with rather than reasoned with.

It was rather amusing, but now it's beginning to bore me.

The use of the royal "we" was funny, though. :D

I think it is more than one person using a single alt (or an alt with multiple personalities) because the style/tone is so inconsistent.

That would be an interesting twist. I could see Amicus and DK and a few others coming together just for the fun of it. If so, they must be getting bored with the new trend of starting threads and only the reactionaries showing up to share their bile with one another. (Which I think is a great way to [not] respond to those "I'm a poor loser" threads.)

I just hope the athiests around don't take this as anything resembling a real Christian line of reasoning.

Perhaps it's a bunch of Christians in a group home for delinquents, all accessing the same computer in the day-room. The inconsistency of style is jarring. The one common thread seems to be anger, which would make sense coming from a bunch of bozos in lockup.

There you go. The only heartburn this thread gives to me at all is referring to wmrs2 as a Christian.

It almost has to be an alt. No one could truly be that clueless, could they?

I believe they could, but alt gets my vote.

ETA: The inconsistent tone could also come from the alt just not paying attention. Or could be substance related.

Whomever or whatever wmrs2 is or is not, it is clear, that aside from JBJ and myself, who have assaulted your intellectual dishonesty, this person has assaulted your lack of faith and called you out and you display your usual tactics of 'trollism', with name calling, insults and even calls to have the poster banned from the site.

A handful go from thread to thread, trolling, calling names and offering nothing of substance; it is embarrassing as it is so transparent and ugly.

So, we just said to our loving mate, "I am bored so let's call the dog trolls, you know, the RABD."

We threw out some red meat: "God doesn't love you." The whole pack did not come running but you few did. The rest will probably show up soon as the evening progresses.

This post is in keeping with the OP's topic since it illustrates well why Americans think of atheist in a derogatory manner. If you wanted to fit into society, you could but you need to strengthen your psychology. You are so sure that you are smarter than this nut (to use your term), you are a bunch of setting ducks.

Welcome to round two of show and tell! That is how we teach first graders but it works well with "intellectual giants" too. DeeZire, you are correct. We do not really know how God feels about Stella but you are free to imagine. We were only giving what the Bible says God thinks about atheist. It is our plan to explore this topic this evening and we hope you stay around for our Bible lesson even though it is not prayer meeting night.

Go ahead, bark out, it's your turn. By the time you finish, maybe the rest of your pack will be here for the daily intertainment. Here boy, here boy, come fetch.

Please visualize Amicus, twirling in his office chair, laughing whole heartedly!

DesertPirate, you can use my new term anytime you like. It is RABD (Red Ass Bitch Dog). How do you like it? Do you think it will stick?

Ah. I was not following closely enough. :D

Apparently, your reading comprehension needs as much help as your grammar and spelling do.

We'll try this again, shall we? In bigger letters, and I'll use shorter words:

I am not an atheist.

Did you understand it this time? There are more faiths out there than Christianity, o ignorant one, and mine has certainly been around a whole lot longer.

Darling, your son's goldfish cares more about what your religion is than the crazy person does. Stop arguing with the crazy person.

Agree. Can't folks see the Amicus/JBJ technique of baiting written all over this alt?

Dear Cloudy...most major western religions in the past century hold several things in common. One, that life was and is created by God and than man cannot destroy life for the sake of birth control and convenience. Two, that God intended man and woman to procreate and live together as family for life.

There is a great conflict between many Catholics and Christians in general, over these 'absolute' positions of the church.

Religion, again in general, considers their moral positions to be absolute and they do not permit parishoners (if that is the correct term) to pick and choose which moral edicts they will adhere to.

Rather an 'either/or' situation that many will not acknowledge. That is to say if you are not religious and in adherence to all tenets of the faith, then you are a non believer, or atheist.

One can see why some might be confused.

Amicus...

I can't wait to see Cloudy come back with a "What does Western religion have to do with what I posted?" All of that running off at the mouth, and I wouldn't be surprised if it has no relevance to anything Cloudy posted.

You're absolutely right - it isn't even close to being relevant to what I posted. :D

My religion (if you want to call it that for lack of a better word), has no hard and fast "tenets of faith," no "holy book," none of the trappings of modern religion at all.

As usual, ami, you're so far off base you're not even in the game.

I do not wish to argue with you Cloudy, not the point of this thread. But to clarify, perhaps for others here that actually read what is written, every 'religion, faith, belief', exists to provide moral and ethical guidance to those who accept it.

That is the definition of 'faith'. Whatever you call your particular belief, must certainly address the origins of creation and the value of life, if not, what then is its value?

That will be my final words on that subject.

The bikini barista at the expresso stand

states that: 'Religion has inhibited her spiritual development.' Her words, not mine. She was studying a religion as an extra credit when she found out that the spiritual experience that she was sharing with the pastor's wife was not sanctioned by 'God' and would probably be punished in the hereafter. It was with some reluctance that she terminated her relationship with the woman. The pastor, however, was a much different story: the bikini girl had to have a restraining order issued on him.......She was sure that she was on the path to spiritual enlightenment!
I've tried to pick up where they left off......love those polka-dots!!!!

Not only are you laughing but the whole forum is. They see these trolls for what they are. It is my opinion that every thread we go to, these REBD will follow but everybody will know who these people are. By the time they quite digging holes for themselves, they will be in hell.

Stella did not even give me a chance to introduce myself before he went after me. Every time they took a bite out of me they mentioned this Amicus person. What have you done to these people? They tremble at your name and continually refer to you when you are not even around.

Amicus you are becoming a folk hero. You have a lot of friends here for holding the flood of ignorance back and allowing the true intellectuals to grow. We have received a tremendous amount of PMs of thanks for baiting these trolls out in the open like this. We will not be able to answer all our fan mail but many, many people are watching and enjoying our conflict with the trolls.

Perhaps, we do not even begin to know how many people these trolls have insulted. They must insult every person that disagrees with them. They made a monster out of us and now we are eating them. When we were a kid, we used to go snip hunting. This is much more fun.
