At the BB, but should be writing instead?

Just curious, how many of us came to Lit to post our work, but are getting distracted having a good time with everybody on the BB? I could get a lot more writing done if you people weren't being so funny all the time. I'm sitting here with my story spread before me half done, reading what you all have to say instead of what my characters have to say. Bad girl! Bad! Bad! (spanking self) Now that that is out of my system, I'll go write.

I'm with you, TaffyJ. I have 2 stories in the works and a request story that I need to get to work on. Everytime I sit down, I tell myself I am NOT going to the boards! Then I think, well just for a minute. Next thing I know, an hour's gone by!

Lazy. I'm just lazy.

And i like to have fun, maybe just a tad too much. Sometimes writing is just plain grunt work but the Boards are always at least kinda fun, you know.

However, i'm writing with someone on a new story now and that keeps me focused (cuz i don't want to be a drag on our collective effort, you know). Now, where is he? Has the summer with its more demanding/alluring rt done in another good writing team?

*lol* Just check my story posting dates against my BB threads! I've got around a dozen stories and 3 poems (and 3 non-erotic) stories posted BUT its been months since I've written a new story...

Even Gnufi has written more than I lately (i.e. - the newsletter)

I am working on my first ever story, but now that I am posting, I haven't gotten shit done on it. Well, that and it isn't coming together the way I wanted, but I am working that all out.

I'm stuck in the middle of a story right now. I refuse to dump this one, because it's a sequel some have asked for, but it's going slow! Maybe I just needed a break. I'll go try again. (I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...)
