At my wit's end with the "Series" feature

The name of my series is "Owned". Every time I publish a new chapter, a series called "Owned Ch" is automatically generated. Doesn't make any sense since I formatted the chapter titles just like everyone else does. Then I change it to manual so I can fix it, and I get doubles of all my stories that are shown both in the "manage works" section and ON MY AUTHOR PAGE. Pic included. I'm honestly blown away by how convoluted this is. I feel like this should be so easy and automatic. Never had this problem on Lush Stories. I dunno, is it me? Am I losing my mind?

It's been a mess since Lit introduced the new Author homepages a few weeks ago. Hopefully it will be cleared up soon.
