At Highschool.....

I enjoyed high school ... my group of friends were a mixture. It ranged from sports , drill team , to honor society.
I had a great time in high school but we did want it to be over. Our senior year we had an amazing time and while we went our different ways we still call one another and hang out together. :)

I always had top grades in English, German and Italian as well subjects like History and Geography, but seriously sucked at Maths, which was cool because for last 2 years in school we were 16 girls and 2 boys in our class (we didnt get split up for any subjects apart our third language). We were a pretty cool bunch, stuck together better than super-glue if somebody needed something, persuaded our headmaster to let us paint our classroom and got drunk beyond recognition on our schooltrips (mind you, we had to drag our teachers home because they weren't physically able to walk anymore). We didnt really have this gang-thing at our school - it was a very social environment.

The best experienc I had was when were on one of our infamous sport weeks (sorta compulsory back home) and non of our teachers who went with us was too enthusiastic either. So we grouped up (18 of us, 2 teachers), we grabbed a couple of bikes, our teacher drove us to the mountain top, there we posed for a couple of photos, some others had photos taken while jogging (this was the only time we were running - and then only for 50 meters) and the third group had photos taken while "eagerly" swimming and competing in the pool: we had to hide the blow-up toys before our teacher took the photos. At least we had some photos to show, because we spent the rest of the week partying, sunbathing and harassing the 2 boys of our class. One of them was lucky enough to share a room with my friend and me :D

None of the above

For me high school was a blast because i was the class clown and took very little serious, smart enought to get the grades but to lazy to get really good grades(a waste really) but the experance was great. Best part was drama class, 4 guys and 16 girls, man i miss that class, also lots of tokes, it put everything into perspective( or at least it did at the time) worst part, teachers don't like class clowns, so i thought "to bad" G.O.T.

What was your worst experiance at High School?

Interesting Topic, I've considered starting this thread my self.

Nerd, plus something of the rest. 7-12 were together at my school. My Dad died of cancer at age 33, about a week before 7th grade began. I was moodier & broodier than the other kids. One day I was as serious & mature as the teachers, the next I didn't care about anything or anyone or what they thought, myself included. Not to complain, but I didn't fit. I didn't have a pop-culture high school experience, I was an adult trapped in highschool. Maybe if Goths had been invented I would have been one.

I thought I had the right to say anything , as long as it was the truth. That made me unpredictable &hilarious.I never turned down a dare, either. I was also feared. No, I only got sent to the principal's office a couple of times. I was too clever to do anything that was an infraction, always an acceptable explanation.

I think I was the only kid from the chess club to start on the varsity football team.

The worst part was the first day of 10th grade. By 10:15 am I was bored. I was killing time till graduation from then on. I worked 7 hours a day in the family business. I didn't have the after hours social life the others had.

I wasn't an outsider, I was close to the most popular guy in my class, by graduation we were best friends, & we still think the world of one-another, regardless of career changes, moves etc.
I helped anyone & everyone anytime they asked, as long as it was an honest activity.I figured everybody in my class was my peer & treated them as such.Still do. Senior year I missed being class president by one vote.I was voted "most school spirit" :D (really, & I deserved it) and runner-up as most polite.

I was a mixture of 2,3 and 4.

Long story, and not a very nice one at that.....

every school has one I was him

that kid in the back of the class, he is semi smart but just dosn't care about anything. melding into the background noone knows he is there.

I melded into everygroup

there was the A group the most popular people I hung out with them and they would talk to me. yet when people seen this group they never seen me with them. I hung out with the stoners (never did any drugs but they were the best artists and poets at school) and when it came time for the croud to dispurse or get in trouble guess who the teachers and prinsapal never seen... yep me :) I hung out with the jocks but never played sports. I didn't get bullied, I never bullied anyone else. I hung out with and was a nerd yet noone ever grouped me with them lol.

in grade 11 socialigy class we did a study of all the clicks in school and compared them... what I thought was funny was the teacher pointed out to me after class.... your in everyone of these groups yet noone in the class named you. :D hahaha.

I AM THE FLY HAHAHA.

High school was such a bad experience for me. I've been avoiding this thread all day, but I'm bored. So here goes...

I have this social anxiety disorder, I believe. I mean I've never been diagnosed. And couple that with doing way too many drugs that made me even more paranoid....

Every day would be a grueling experience. I hated going there, and I mean hate. When all the columbine stuff went down, I started feeling really nervous. I thought people would think I was like that.

I was quiet, kept to myself, and I have deep feelings and emotions. I think I was depressed through most of my H.S. years. I never really opened up to anybody, and when I did it was taken the wrong way.

Now, don't take this as me whining, because I'm not. I've had lot's of good experiences through my H.S. years. It's just none of them ever had anything to do with school.

I earned good grades, I always tried to come off as polite and kind. I always stuck up for kids who were bullied.

So, in short, High school blowed.

What was your worst experiance at High School?

I was a combination of 1 and 2. A smart girl that bucked the system

My worst experience in HS was being prayed for by the church that pretty much ruled my (public) HS, because I was Catholic and my best friend was gay.
