I spent part of last night watching a Pink Floyd concert video so where else would my mind go when you say Run?

The most thrilling ride that I ever had was on a Tilt a Whirl.
Yes, a Tilt a Whirl.
Many years ago when the dinosaurs ruled the earth, My date and I were the first and only ones on the ride. It was early afternoon, and the carnival had just opened for the day.

The guy operating it was a thin hippie looking guy with a leather vest, long braided hair, long full beard and mustache. Completing his outfit, were, jeans, boots, sunglasses and a cigarette in his hand.
I looked at him.
We nodded acknowledgement to each other as fellow beings on the planet.
I simply said "Make it a good one"
He just dipped his chin, and I knew that it would be good.
He started us with a couple spins left, then a couple right,
Then moved the stick to keep us spinning faster and faster one way only.
The centripetal forces slamming up back increasing our g forces as we continued to spin 20-30 times or more.
Slowing down we started the same spin in the reverse direction.
Screaming how great is was, we continued to spin the other way, repeating the forces of nature. Faster faster, we're screaming how great it is, "keep it going".
back and forth, for a minute or so for each spinning. We continued our wild ride.
Just having a BLAST.
Eventually, it became too much, we were getting both dizzy and nauseous.
And began to holler out, "Enough, Enough".

Well, he took his time slowing it down and we continued to Whirl and Whirl as we repeated our chorus of "Enough enough".
Eventually he stopped. I guess we had almost 10 minutes on that ride.
When exiting, with wobbling legs and unsteady feet, I looked over at him,
we both smiled, and I said thanks'

Wherever you are amigo. I want to thank you for the ride that was the best, then,
