I have my very own stalker. Mr. Annymouse has decided he likes me so much he left a nasty comment on my story, and within 20 minutes of deleting it, he left another. then another about an hour later. All on the same chapter of my story.

Then I turned off anonymous feedback so the SOB started sending me harassing and vaguely threatening messages from his AOL account. about 8 in three days. I blocked his email, but continued to get the emails. I then realized for each email he sends, he changes his email ever so slightly so putting them on the blacklist is useless.

I reported this to Laurel and his ISP as well as my ISP and internet provider, I even printed the emails and reached out to my cousin who's a cop in a neighboring county to see if these emails fall under the state or federal stalking statutes.

Mr. ANnymouse, thank you for making my life a living hell and making my PTSD worse from when I was attacked by a stalker and almost killed. Hope your proud of yourself.

All laws I know require that you actually tell the person to stop doing what he does. Just being annoyed is not sufficient for criminal prosecution.

He is annon on the story side. If he has a user name I don't know it. Only way to contact him is to send an email directly to the email addresses he uses which will then give him my actual email address. No thank you.

BTW according to my cousin with the SD in a local county, I do not have to contact him, an intermediary can do so. My cuz is owed a favor by a DA so he asked the DA to contact the asshat. Hopefully that will scare him off. Until then extra precautions are being taken.

Today I was told to "focus" because the guy who decided to pm me somehow though he was entitled to my sole attention after 5 minutes. I wasn't even remotely interested. His reasoning was because he was going to bed soon... it did not wok out as he wanted

But the absolute best one was some guy who demanded to know why I wasn't replying. I told him I was busy with my son, to which he asked me who was more important: this absolute stranger or my two year old.... he told me to choose, I chose, he was not pleased with my answer. Once again chatting for a very short amount of time. I then proceeded to get abuse and repeatedly telling me not to contact him. I couldn't block him quick enough

Never believe you're entitled to something from me! I have people I've talked to for days, weeks and months believing in this misconception; it does not work in your favour

"Hi, sexy avatar/profile pic/sexy post you made there" and when I send back a generic "thanks!" I invariably get a reply of "So tell me about yourself.."

Except I wasn't being patronising. I genuinely couldn't remember whether or not we'd talked before; I really am curious as to whether those approaches for people or not; I actually was interested to know whether he'd read the thread; and I was bemused that he seemed to think that would work (see earlier 'curious' point). I was perfectly will to have a conversation with him, if we could find something to talk about.

They got part of the message about talking before jumping into sexy talk but the execution is all wrong and they only partially understood what that actually means. Like they're counting down the messages.

I tend to despise this type of person most. They chit chat with the idea that asking how I am and what I like to cook immediately leads into "look at this porn and tell me what you think." They're not happy when I tell them I think it's gross and they're stupid.

It has actually been really disappointing when the person pming is witty and intelligent on board but then does this. 2 or 3 PMs in and apropos of nothing start trying to get sexual. It is always a bummer moment for me.

I dont know if the ones I have talked to qualify as asshat but just disappointing.
