So here's the scenario: Either tell 1-3 things about yourself, or ask the person above a similar number of questions.

Since there's nobody above, I'll start with something about myself, which you probably don't want to know 'cause I'm not an established Literotican.

I'll be hating missing the D.C. Lit-together, especially since I'll be a few miles away a few hours later, at Velvet Nation.

I don't hold on to friends at all. If I ever have even a slight problem with someone, I'll just try to avoid them. I miss a lot of emotional pain that way, but sometimes I wonder if it would be worth it, could I find someone trustworthy with common interests who liked me.

My favorite color is usually electric blue.

I suppose I'll tell :)

I love my job but I wish I made more money (I really make a low salary) or that I could actually stick to a budget...either way

I love to cuddle, but then out of nowhere I'll get an urge to be alone and I want to push the person away...I just can't make up my mind

I am always surprised when people tell me what they think of me (in a good way...I don't see myself as being as strong as others see me, or as together, or as nice).

For Deliciously Naughty

1. Did you ever get that Wesley story back to where it was rated before the Fark episode? (yes, I did go vote!)

2. Have you read Purity in Death yet? (just came out...omg it's so good!)

3. I just baked a batched of chocolate chip cookies. Want one?

1. no :( but chapter 2 was in the top ten of the scifi stories last I checked (and thanks for voting, btw). Chapter 3 is all planned out but I've been too busy to actually sit down and get it out onto my computer.

2. I just got the noras news yesterday and bought it today. I should have it read by tommorrow :)

3. YES YES YES YES...you've found my weakness :)

Three questions for nora

1. Have you read her novel midnight bayou? I want declan only marginally less than I want roarke :)

2. Do you have any ice cream to go with the chocolate chip cookies?

3. Where was your favorite vacation spot, ever?

I'll tell.

I find it hard to be as outgoing in person as I am here. Unless I know you really well. Then...all bets are off! :D

I love meeting new people, and am looking forward to meeting several people on this board in the near future.

I think that's 2...that falls within the guidelines for this thread. :)

Dammit. We're really going to have to have that voting party! LOL I'm on Nora's News too!! I didn't realize she'd become a gramma! Damn, wonder if her other son's free... *smirk*

1. Nooo! Stupid hardcovers! *sniffle* I'm going to put my name on the waiting list at the library tomorrow though! YAY! Declan's as good as Roarke? No way. Nothing's as good as Roark! lol

2. Yes, yes I do! I have PowerPuff Girl's Mint Chocolate Chip! YUM!

3. Hrmm. That's hard. I probably had the most fun at Disneyworld (6 days of eating everything in site, then going on rollercoasters. Really shouldn't have been as much fun as it was!) I think with unlimited funds and going back to someplace I've been, I'd likely choose Ireland, though. Although Chicago's my favoritest place in the US...Ok, that one's too hard! *whines*

Wow, replies! Hardly expected that. Seems about evenly balanced on asking and telling so far, at least when I follow the thread rules and ask:

Nora, what is it that makes somebody on a forum memorable to you?

And what's the average airspeed of a... Ok, that one's a little worn out.

Wow, the first is a hard question because there's both "negative memorable" and "positive memorable." On the negative side, sheer stupidity, arrogance or purposeless argumentativeness (is that a word??). On the positive side posters with fun/funny posts, interesting (to me) questions, or excellent use of the language pop out at me.

What? African or European?
