I knew I wasn't crazy to think the zeitgeist went from GLBT to LGBT... Etc. Who can explain why the G and L switched places?
G got its ass kicked.
..........nevermind
they didn't switch shit. both are acceptable. hell, there's several alternate versions with q's and a's and whatever.
I absolutely NEVER see GLB... anymore unless it was written 15 years ago. It's ALWAYS LGB... these days. You are either lying to be argumentative or are delusional.

I see it both ways
You cherry picked a few images which are written from the same clique of old people - ALA and universities. - and that disproves the shift from GLBT to LGBT? Come on... (PS half your images put the L first...)
You are blind or delusional to say the shift did not happen. .. And why are you so desperate to prove the shift didn't happen? Is there some hidden meaning I am not aware of?
Hellsbells even wiki notes the shift, go look it up.![]()
I see it both ways, although it tends to be L before the G now. Usually it's the letters that are left out that cause the biggest fuss.

Apropos!
The one reason I have seen most often is that the change was made because historically the movement was known as "gay rights", "gay pride", etc.. "Gay" has generally been associated with men now though. So the L and G were swapped by a number of groups out of what comes down to "political correctness" for the most part.

But wait, there was no change at all. They were always used interchangeably Just ask aptly name pointless and Zumi. I've obviously made it all up due bizarre reasons which make no sense other than my insanity and inventive imagination.
Meanwhile...
