I think three things at three different ages. At 15: finish the damn Eagle, you're gonna regret not doing it now for the rest of your life. At 26: be more greatful and less arrogant. At 33: be prepared to try thing, you'll shut her down with your hang ups.
Well, goose. It's pretty traditional in the UK though. I've also done lamb, standing rib roast, prime rib, and tenderloin. Do the tenderloin. Spend the money. Rub it with olive oil and spices, roast it in the over. It is beautiful.

There's no fixed statute of limitations, injustice doesn't suddenly disappear after fifty years or a hundred or five hundred. It's overcome by people collectively working to bring change to broken systems.

Ah, this is an interesting question. For some, it is quite serious and deep. I can think of a few that I made here but have continued out on FB and other places (and I've only met one of them in person, and only for coffee...nothing "oh la la"). I do take the friendships I've made here - even if I didn't continue them well when I was Lit-hiatus - to be important. I really do care about people here. That's in part why I came back. I missed a lot of the people. And that, BTW, includes you. You've been around here longer that I, and I've always thought you were a pretty good guy. Frankly, you intimidate me because you're pretty cool, and so well liked. There are many here: men and women. That I care about.
