Ask Dr Liz Is Retiring

Well, it's been fun. I really and truly did enjoy all of the questions and sexy banter we enjoyed on my Ask Doctor Liz thread.

I know from several of you that even though my advice often came with a sarcastic, sardonic or even pervy twist (wait, who me? lol) that it was, at least on occasion, somewhat useful.

Unfortunately, a petty, jealous bitch reported my Ask Dr Liz thread to the Mod's (along with my Pervy Husband thread) this week and both threads were shut down without any warning.

Normally I'm not one to back down from a fight and I've certainly picked myself up and dusted myself off countless times before, but I'm not going to stoop to her level, or build something good and funny and popular back up again just so she can tear it down again. Instead, I'm going to leave here with a shred of my dignity rolleyes and with my held high.

I will truly miss many, many, MANY of you!

I'm sure, after I take a few weeks or so to cool down a bit, I will probably return. Until then, I wish you all a fabulously happy and enjoyable Summer (or Winter for my Aussie friends - bye Firey! bye Aussie! bye Simon! ) highlighted by just the right amount of pervy kinkiness that we have all come to share and relish together.

Thank you to all my wonderful assistants too! We sure had fun didn't we?

I've not been a regular in your threads, but I have enjoyed your posts and our occasional interactions, this is certainly a shame. Mods would do far better with getting some control over some of the other threads that have been monopolized by a very few, the whole place seems to be overrun with 'the person above you' threads, which is making me nauseous and now in need of your medical advice.

I've not followed your threads. That doesn't mean I'd report it. This is an adult (sex) site. If you don't like something, skip it. No one is forcing you to click on anything. Obviously someone is jealous of your following, their threads suck or they have unmet needs. Perhaps all three. The only thing I'd ever report to a mod is child abuse.

I'm very disappointed to hear this. I'm perplexed about why the thread might be deemed objectionable (at least, by the standards of the rest of Lit), but I only read them part-time, so I'm not in a good position to make any judgement about that. What I am disgusted to hear, though, is that the true motivation for reporting them was a petty vendetta.

On a positive note, I'd like to thank Dr Liz for all of the fun and for the amusement that she has given me whenever I opened her thread. Like so many here, I will miss her if she leaves for good.
