Why does the time go by so slow when your traveling to your destination but when you return, you're home before you know it?
It's all a matter of perspective.
While you travel there, you are anticipating all the cool stuff happening and time moves slower.
Heading home, you are heading to somewhere familiar, so the same anticipation isn't there. So time seems to fly faster.
