Gorgeous roses :)

What does "buntong" mean?

My scanner is kaputski :(

I'm trying to find some new pictures to post :)

G, nope, I never heard of "buntong" before.

Next time I go to the Indian store, I'll ask for some.

Do you drink it? Or is it like a perfume?

You better tell me!

I woke up to get my Milo... couldn't sleep. :( .. knew something was missing.....

actually is spelled Bandung or Bantung.... you can get it at many Kopi Diem (singapore style coffee shops.... its the pink stuff in the juice coolers...) and yes it is very perfumy... Gusty doesn't like it, but I love it.... you drink it... made from milk and I guess the essence of roses.....

anyways one of our roses in our Garden (buntung rose above) has to be of the variety they use to make the stuff.. you can smell the rose almost 3 feet away.....

hi hong :)
Sleepwalking for your Milo--that's cute.
Okay, I can't have the bantung then--allergic to milk. But I'll look for it :)
I hereby crown you the etymologist of the Asian thread

Means you have a sore throat...

Hey I thought it means.... No, I know it means Hot Air or Hot Gas... as in Chi.....

no, not my Hao Sui Do Guo Cha (mouth water/saliva more than tea) syndrome.... nor does it mean farting a lot - though deep fried foods may result in that too :D

sore throat is a result of too much heat in the body in Traditional Chinese Medicine...

now back to eating hay.. ;)
