I thought it was real until they read the names.

Whoever told them at NTSB shoulda gone with the old school classic, Wun Hung Lo.

Or maybe they called a wrong number and whoever answered ran with it. Ha!

Either way, Wun Hung Lo.

And now some 'comedian' has made another 'joke' using another 'Chinese' name. he pointed it at the radio station-- and he is screaming all over twitter because the same people who didn't like the first joke, don't like the second.

And I have seen comments from people saying that it's not fair they can't even make jokes about Asians, that all these minorities are spoiling their fun.

It was a summer intern who gave out those names...according to the NTSB spokesperson. He/She is no longer an intern at this time and measures have been put in place so this won't happen again.

He also said that the NTSB does not release the names of pilots or passengers.

Well, this sort of thing happens every generation or so; it raises the odd smile and the world moves quickly on. It's all a bit juvenile, frankly.
