Elon Musk said the DOGE office would cut nearly $150 billion in spending for the 2026 fiscal year.

Last month, Musk said the office would cut nearly $1 trillion.

1. Fraud isn't "only" an "inside job." Unless you believe that being a sucker when you're conned is an "inside job."

2. Audits are merely reviews of what transactions have occurred as compared to the guidelines required for those transactions. It's basically a matching game - step 1, step 2, steps 3... If any of those steps were missed, the audit is designed to catch them.

JUST LIKE when writing code.

DOGE is fully trained and equipped to both write code and match the transactions to the requirements for approval and payment. They also work with the audited department's staff/personnel while doing it.
