y'know the products, the ones who profess to give you the appearance of having a tan when you're really white as a ghost. What's up? I would rather not lie in a tan booth and cause more wrinkles than I already have. I'd use these products if I didn't think that my skin was going to turn a horrid shade of orange. LOL... c'mon, can anyone recommend a product or am I going to have to sign up for another $100 tan booth session complete with wrinkles and premature aging spots?

Just a warning, if you go with the lotion-style products. Use them in moderation. A Friend's S/O tries to cover up the fact that she's pasty as can be with that stuff... she over does it. And when walking around or anything... you can see it collected in a really strange way at the backs of her knees, insides of her elbows, and her fingers

Alot of the girls I work with use the lotion type tanning products. They seem to work okay for the ones that know how to use them properly. I think the key is to use a moisturizer along with the tanning lotion. It waters it down a bit but it keeps the lotion from collecting in the groves of your hands, knees, ect. Just gives a more natural appearance.

I personally will stick with the old tanning booth in the winter and the good ole sun in the summer! Hope this helps.

Indoor tanning has been regulated by most states for over 10 yrs. Be it that some people over do it and harm their bodies, it has been proven in alot of ways, safer than the real sun.

As far as cancer, I really am not sure what to believe ... but what is coming up most is that the UVB ray is the one that wakes up the cancerous gene that lays dormant in your body. The UVA ray is the one that dries the skin and creats wrinkles. Too aleviate the affects of the UVA ray, moisturize if you want to have the yr round tan.

Alot of times, just walking in the sun, or standing waiting for someone, you are getting more of those rays than if you were laying in a tanning bed for 10 minutes.
