Art!!

ok...so this is step 2..i plan my colors. I work in colored pencil, but i know alot of other comic book artist works in airbrush or on the PC...now keep in mind, this is just like practice. This isnt even the actual drawing i will use in the end (i will trace onto britol...hence why it is outlined in black) i use the outline to practice my color scheme...that way any mistakes i am gonna make with color, i make on the non finished product!!

I am not a painter. I am a photographer.
Nor is this sexy, but I liked it. It was an ice formation on a piece of fishing line down at a pier near my house.

THIS ROCKS!

would be a GREAT peice to try and paint! nice excersize of light!

(or maybe i will just steal it from the site, blow it up and put it in my living room...!! )

good morning everyone

this is such a cool idea!
i am always interested in seeing how other people work, how the artistic brain actually goes about creating...especially when it is something i find intimidating (like oils) Breaking it down give me the real sense of AH HA! THATS how its done!

Here is a photo of a photo of the frog I gave to a family member. Chalk pastel, I'm not sure of the size anymore.

WOW. Your frog is way impressive, not to mention the tiger and the leopard. Awesome work. What is your primary medium...

i'm right handed....every once in a while i'll turn a piece to the side or upside down when i'm having a problem with an area....gives it a whole different look.
