In Milwaukee: I shoveled about 8 inches of snow a couple hours ago. Just moved my car to the back of my building - still snowing and around 2 inches of accumulation. With lake effect snow, will probably end up with around 6 more inches by tomorrow.

Fuck do I hate snow.

Poor benighted southerner to not be able to experience the cold refreshing winds of winter. To be stuck in a mundane pattern of unhealthy heat. Winter is much healthier for you than summer, contrary to some opinions. All the cool sports are played or engaged in during winter.

The park service said in a statement Wednesday that peak bloom for Washington’s famous cherry blossoms is still expected in the next week, but fewer trees could blossom because of the cold weather.
