Nope - as much as I appreciate the effort and Xmas spirit, the background and foreground colors are too much. Provide us with a version where the Grinch banner stays, and the candy canes stay, but the rest is the same (as the regular scheme), then I will use it.

I gave it a good twenty-thirty minute chance. Once my eyes adapted, it isn't too bad. I'm going to change back to the blue/grey scheme thought, because the change from the red to the more muted tones of other sites, or other parts of this site is excruciating for a few moments as my eyes readjust again.

I have the same old blue and white shit I always have... well, except for when G.R. comes over and uses my computer. She says she prefers the soft tones of the grey and pinky-purple.

Hi Harold!

What I'd like to see is a super low bandwidth (few or no images) black/grey/white scheme and then a few other schemes for the other primary colors. Eventually, we will get someone to make a few of them for us or sit down and do them ourselves. It takes quite a while to make them right.

One of the cool sets I saw recently had the look of Windows XP, it was blue/silver I think. Maybe I'll try to track that down too.

I dont think we mean to piss on your parade, but you must admit the Xmas theme is a radical change, especially when not braced for it. I do like the Grinch, perhaps he can be added to the general themes as Owen was for Halloween.

As WH alluded to, your eyes can adjust but if you jump around its a problem. I often have at least 3 different windows open at once so I would flip my lid if stuck with the 'Red' theme.

I use the grey/dark blue theme, I find it is the most easily read.
