I must be, because someone sent me some lateral thinking puzzles, and they are god damn mind bending!!!!

Just to screw your mind over as well (sharing is caring :D), here are a couple:

1. Egg, fish, table, foundation, bet. Which is the odd one out?
2. What can explode slowly, with no smoke or flame?
3. They can be made, laid down, bent and broken, although it's difficult to touch them. What are they?
4. How many times can you subtract 3 from 39?
5. Which English word do Australians always pronounce incorrectly?
6. How can I not sleep for 10 days and not be tired?
7. What do you break by saying its name?

Scroll down for answers...

1. You can't lay a fish
2. Population
3. Rules
4. Once. After that you are subtracting 3 from 36 and so on.
5. Incorrectly.
6. By sleeping at night.
7. Silence.

Those are fun.
Do you have any more?

Congratulations, you only got two wrong!

The correct answer is"As often as you like" (though repeating it gets boring after the first few hundred attempts all give the answer 36).

The correct answer is "Almost all of them".

1. You can't lay a fish

If desperate enough...

6. By sleeping at night.

Or sleeping for 9 days.

1 - correct - fish
2 - incorrect - I didn't have a clue
3 - correct - well, I said laws
4 - incorrect - I divided and got 13
5 - correct
6 - incorrect but I'm arguing my case for "If you're dead."
7 - correct

No no... it's:

1. Bet - it's the only one that is a verb.
2. A swell - I can punch my arm until it bruises and then like a slow explosion - it swells without smoke or fire even though it feels like it.
3. My arm now - so difficult to touch it now.
4. Infinite - you didn't specify how many 39's.
5. Yeah yeah... no witty retort for this fella.
6. Live in the Arctic winter - you'll forget what a day is so you'll never be tired during day.
7. Wind. *cough*

On the contrary, 'foundation' is the only one that isn't a verb (yet):
I egged him on.
I fish for compliments.
I tabled a motion.

The problem with two is that it only covers non-human population explosions. Humans always sneak in fire and smoke into their growths. Also, I'm a freak i did 6 before the hard way for my thesis. Thank god for renewable caffeine sources. In truth after about the 3rd day, you go past mere tired into a sort of anti-sleep. Very zen

I still think I'm a logical thinker, because you lateral thinkers are downright illogical.

So, for you sick SOB's, here are some more, possibly easier ones:

1. What do you put on the table, cut and then pass around, but would never actually eat?
2. Two miners were sitting on a bench. One miner was the other’s son, but the other one was not his father. Why?
3. My kind old aunt collects buttons, but even in an emergency she wouldn’t let you sew any of them onto a garment. Why?
4. what can move and be still at the same time?
5. A sphere’s got three, a circle’s got two, but a point hasn’t got any?
6. Which is true? One statement here is false? Two statements here are false? Three statements here are false?
7. At midnight it is raining hard. How probable is it that it will be sunny in 72 hours time?
8. Can you guess the next letter in this series? C Y G T N L I T
9. I can tie a knot in a piece of string without letting go of either of the ends. How?

Scroll down for answers…

1. A deck of cards
2. She was his mother
3. She collects buttons from radios, tvs and lifts
4. A carton of orange juice
5. Dimensions. A point is a place, it has no form.
6. Two statements here are false
7. It will be midnight.
8. S. They are the first letters of the words
9. By picking up the string with my arms folded, then unfolding them.

I was desperate enough!

As for exploding slowly, I went with temper, but I suppose there is smoke coming out of the ears!

Try this one: O T T F F S S

This comes from an examination paper for eleven-year-olds and there are 25 seconds for each question.

A friend told me I have the iq of a sweater.

He must be right.

WTF?

I must be the most illogical person alive...
