Are Slips Extinct?

I still like wearing a full slip under my dresses, except sun dresses. I like how they feel, I like how my dress slides over them, I like how they keep me warmer and I like how my husband stares at me when I am down to just my slip. I also like a full slip under my blouse and skirt with some outfits, although as others noted, with a lined skirt it is not as important. Sometimes when I am away from home on business I like a shorter slip to sleep in.

They are getting harder to find, but you can still find my favorite Vanity Fair slips. My daughters tell me no one wears a slip anymore so I quit pushing it when they were in high school.
You can buy them easily at my local market, there are several stalls that sell them where I live. I agree with you, I love the way they feel and the way my dress or skirt slides over them is very sensuous.

Nice and silky as as they slide down over your body... Or as they slide off
I have a lot of them and they do feel nice on my body, I like the coolness of them in the summer time and I wear them in the house if I'm by myself. I even wear them with a skirt of dress with a lining as I enjoy the layered effect of them sliding over each other.

its the smoothness of silk as it caresses your body when you walk and move. As it slides up your thighs when you sit down and expose your legs...

Sunday morning. Despite the dwindling number of church goers and the more casual dress at church, I imagine there is still a huge total number of women wearing dresses or skirts today and sporting silky slips beneath. It must contribute to some Sunday morning or after church fun and some fantasy inspiration as a stray lace hem peeks out in holy places. I am thankful!
