Are Slips Extinct?

I have quite a few slips, but I don’t actually use them the way they’re supposed to be used, i.e. under my clothing. I mostly wear them around my house while I’m getting ready / doing my hair and makeup, as something like a replacement for a robe. I also admittedly wear them to feel sexy.

If you're wearing them to feel sexy I can sure as hell see why! Mercy!

You are just adorable and I’d love to worship you however you wished … thank you so much for sharing .

The feminine allure of a woman dressed in a slip is timeless. Full or half, those slippery, shimmery underthings have such an arousing blend of practical and sensual. And now, it seems, nostalgic. Anyone here still wear slips in occassional daily life? Or in the bedroom?

My last slip fun was about a year ago when my lover showed me a few vintage ones she ended up with from her grandmother's things, as well as a fur. She posed in the slips and fur, the tease ending with that long white lace-hemmed slip bunched around her waist as we both got off to a good old fashioned missionary union!
I absolutely love slips, it stems from seeing mum in hers when I was young. Half slips, full slips, they feel incredible too. Vintage lingerie is a major turn on for me .

I agree. Very few women of my age (mid 20's) wear a slip but I love how they feel and they also make my dresses look better. Etsy and Nylon Nostalgia are amongst many useful sources. I have noticed that on the rare occasions when I have inadvertently exposed a tiny amount of lacy hem, men immediately notice. Do men suffer from nylon nostalgia ?

Can't speak for all men but I certainly do.... though I believe nostalgia is the wrong word here. Because just seeing a lacy slip in a store triggers a response far greater than "oh I miss the good old days". I see the vintage slip (I see them there as it would be too dangerous for me to go to a lingerie shop) and I try to look away. I can't. I take a second peek. I look away only to see who else is in the store and who is at the cash register. I will go to it and touch it....and if it is too beautiful and too silky or satiny to leave behind....I will be buying it.

At one point I had over thirty five slips. which is a bit inconvenient as I am in the closet and was living with someone.

Maybe it is just me....

You are right, but I knew there was something else I meant to mention. I once read that an attractive woman in a lacy slip always looks as if she is on her honeymoon. I don't know about that, but I do think that a well cut slip is still the most feminine of garments despite the changing nature of fashion.

We love seeing a bit of lace we are meant to. But why stop there?

Has a bigger woman, I don't really feel comfortable in traditional lingerie. It usually doesn't fit me well anyway, and I certainly don't feel like it looks flattering on me. Slips on the other hand are perfect. They make me feel sexy and sensual, very easy access, and I'm able to highlight my thighs, ass, and tits without having to expose my midsection. I love them
