In writing stories, I have definitely found a difference between the audiences that read different sections. When looking at a section like "Loving Wives" the overwhelming audience response is heavily geared towards stories where the wife is punished in a very vengeful way. That particular audience seems to be almost all men who have been cheated on IRL and rage when they don't see the wife that cheated on them punished in the story. While the "Romance" section seems to be dominated by female readers, with the stories being a lot more descriptive and much slower burns. In "Mind Control" treating women as objects is more or less a pre-requisite to getting a good response (I know, turning someone into an object is the very basis of mind control) but I don't see clear patterns in the other categories, so I'm just curious.
