I mean - obviously not "all", but are we talking the 80/20 rule here?

I am noticing a real trend towards the nursing profession and the tendency towards wanting and needing a "Sir". Maybe it is the sponge bathing? Maybe it is the desire to be a do-gooder and help thy fellow man?

Or it could be the result of a high-pressure, always in demand and always responsible job that lends itself to wanting to give up control in your personal life.

It's not just nurses.

Nurses and School teachers...:)

Usualy kinky.

Submissive?

More test are in order.

I'm no nurse, and I cringe at the word "submissive" in the way it was intended, but I think Wings kinda nailed it.

Sometimes a woman just needs to bask in the differences between the sexes. Let him rock his dommy side and control all that needs deciding, and she can be at peace with letting it all go for a brief moment or two.

I don't think it is wrong to generalize the sexual proclivities of people that gravitate towards a particular profession. (wait, Nurses are professionals now? Wasn't Stella whining about nurses NOT being professionals not that long ago?)

Agree or disagree with that POV all you want...I think the OP needs to meet a few more nurses. I spent two years of Hell living in a house with three, "Sub" is not how I would describe their boudoir pursuits.

Because trying to generalise sexuality, especially kinky sexuality, is a fairly ridiculous thing to do.

Maybe.

and maybe all the Nurses and school teachers I dated put off the horny/ kink vibe that attracted me.:D

Although I have been known to corrupt the unknowing Vanilla types or so some say.

My viewpoint is that I just let the tigress loose...until/when I put the restraints on.;)

You ladies nailed it. Spot. On.

Except nurses ARE NOT the end all, be all on their floors. Doctors are, and nurses will forever labour under passing fancies of those with a sheepskin on their wall.

The last nurse that I had knowledge of intimate bedroom activities of was my sister-in-law...who broke her husbands nose with a cast iron skillet (when he apparently tried to fuck her in the ass when she was asleep and he was drunk, but that is just family gossip, shhhhhh).

"Sub" is not something that comes to mind when I recollect on all the nurses I have known intimately.
Now the morgue...those are the only friendly people in a hospital!

Nurses are mean. Especially when they jam that IV into you.

Interesting to hear the "Hot Lips" Hoolihan image of nurses of those with fond ideas about RNs vs the Nurse Ratchet image of RNs. I have the utmost respect for RNs no matter which role -- the loving sub or the strong dom.

RNs will definitely be needed more with the Affordable Cars Act with improved patient care and better access to healthcare to the masses. It will continue to be a good pathway for men and women displaced by the unpredictable economy to go back to school and find a rewarding career helping people. And if one is good can earn themselves over 6 figures.

It appears that you're suffering from the idea that submissive means passive and that when I said responsible that I meant for the whole world. The sheer amount of generalizations in your post makes me want to find a cast iron skillet and I'm no nurse.

That is two submissive nurses in a row.

Lisa - we really need to see your boobs. Just sayin'

"OK. This is going to burn a little."

"You are going to feel a slight pinch."

"Oh, really hurts doesn't it, yeah we keep in refridgerated... makes it burn for a while."

"All right. Did the doctor tell you these shots are going to hurt like hell? No?...Sorry."

My sister in law was staff nurse, she was quite bossy, but with me she did as she was told .
