Well, between undergrad & grad school, I spent about 10 years in college libraries. Some of those years I had my own study carrel (a tiny office with a door that locks). Perhaps when I have more time I'll share some of the escapades both in the carrel... and the stacks. Rawr!

Summer birthdays? I was always envious of the kids in school who got to celebrate their birthdays with the whole class. By the time my birthday rolled around, most of my friends were scattered for the summer. I guess having my cake last longer could be considered a plus. Mmmmmm.... breakfast cake.
