Hey CountrySinger - I'm glad you're enjoying the thread. But jsyk - I don't feel obligated . I post photos because I enjoy it. That's why there are days that go by when I don't post them. Usually that's when I'm too busy or too distracted to fully enjoy the process.

Also, like virtually everything in my life, if there wasn't some level of challenge, some sense of "raising the bar" I would quickly grow bored and seek some other way to fill my time. The black and white fishnets and black skirt photos come to mind. Those have been my favorite series so far. Oooh.. still LOVE the one of the fishnets with the belt covering me strategically for SO many reasons.

I think y'all can tell that I prefer the whole package - (again with the all or nothing). I need mental, physical and emotional stimulation to fully enjoy most things I do. That's what I loved about flamenco - complex rhythms, foreign language, = mental; actual lyrics and responding, reacting, evoking the matching sentiments = emotion; exertion of dancing = physical (without hyberbole, Flamenco truly saved my sanity, and was the source of happines and passion for me when I didn't have that in my marriage).

Hell, even when I write, I incorporate all three - research, knowledge of material = mental; connecting with the reader intimately = emotional; and before I write, I usually pump myself up with some loud music and dancing for a bit = physical. So... the photos are no different... well, for me anyway.

I love when the ideas for photos flow like in the two sets I mentioned above. Usually, I'm recalling a memory, a conversation, or a shared fantasy when I take the photos. And I think that energy translates to the image.

I've tried just posing and clicking, but I definitely see the difference when I just click away. Those photos fall flat for me. There's no life in them, no energy to them. No, I'm not trying to get all "wooo woo" and maybe y'all wouldn't even notice. But to me, when I take photos like that, they're the equivalent of when you catch someone smiling, but their eyes are dead.

Sorry to blather on. I've just had a lot of coffee. And having just taken a few photos this morning, all of these thoughts were simmering just beneath the surface.

Hope the combination of the coffee and the comments opened you up. Love to read your thoughts and motivations, learn about your preferences and proclivities. All-in passions are part of what we perceive as the real you. The you we really love so much! You are so real to each of us -- Thank You! those qualities also make you incredibly sexy!
