Well, you just jumped on me for stating that someone was amusing, just because that same someone also chooses to discipline dogs in a way you don't happen agree with. Then, you ask me if I shared the same ideals in a very accusing manner. Why? No clue.

To be fair, again, I meant he was amusing in general. It wasn't specific to his training techniques.

No, I responded in kind with what I thought were reasonable questions like, 'Do you think smacking dogs is ok?' Because you seem to be indifferent despite his character flaws and what he advocates. Why? Because this is the GB and that is what happens here!

His "training techniques" as you like to call them, are ignorant, cruel, stupid and unnecessary. I fail to find to find him amusing. However, what I do find amusing is how you came to the unjustified conclusion that I am high strung for making perfectly obvious observations.

i'm less offended by him hitting a dog than his desperate and aggressive need to normalise it with the, ''if everyone doesn't then everyone should!'' line... like it's not that there's something wrong with him with wanting to, it's that there's something wrong with everyone else. his absolute refusal to accept that there are effective, proven alternatives makes me think he gets a kick out of it.

Yeah. Some people are like that. My mother, for one. According to her, even the way I eat cereal needs improvement. Sometimes you just gotta smile, nod, move along, and do whatever you were going to do in the first place.

i don't smile & nod when people get a kick out of slapping their pets or shutting them in cages while they whine to be let out.
