That's what she wants?

She doesn't want to stop black and brown men from becoming criminals?

She doesn't want to provide them with more opportunities to succeed in life? Safer neighborhoods? Better education?

She doesn't want to provide them with a crime-free lifestyle that gives people hope for a better tomorrow by working hard today?

This is why I hope AOC stays in office forever: She panders to a small demographic of radicals and no one but a radical likes a radical, which is why she is among the least effective members of congress.

While I agree we arrest/prosecute people for shit we shouldn't some things should be and stay absolutely zero tolerance and enforced by and to the fullest extent of the law.

IDGAF how many murderers, rapist, elderly/child/animal abuse, arsonist and robbers get busted and locked away.....because murder, rape, arson, abuse of the innocent and robbery are BAD. Catch ALL of them and make it all but a sure thing that anyone who engages in those activities gets caught.

Build a penal colony in the Mojave. Convicted scum bags go in so the rest of us who CAN follow the rules can get on with our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

IDGAF...society is better off when you lock the violent animals in a cage.

Petty/victimless crimes....lots of room for policy change and discussion there. I obviously take a far more liberal approach here, don't think victimless crime should be a thing and petty crime should be punished with an appropriate array of community service type restitution and or fines.

But society is objectively better with the violent/harmful ones behind bars....hunt them down and lock them up.

Thank you for pointing that out. China only has some 4 million people imprisoned, but in addition, the entire population is confined to a significant extent through the implementation of the Hojou (internal passport) system.

Some 150 million+ have lost access to basic services like education and medical aid. Since technological improvements in moitoring the population, local CCP officials have acquired great power over whether to grant or deny freedom of movement and place of residence to individuals.
